How to build and download a resume
Resume Builder lets Plus members create a resume from a template, edit it in a structured form, preview changes as they type, and export a PDF copy.
You need an active Plus membership to use Resume Builder. If you need to upload an existing file instead, see How to upload your resume to the job tracker.
Open Resume Builder
Sign in to your dashboard.
Select Resume Builder.
If your membership does not include access, you will see a Plus Plan Required message instead of the editor.
Build your resume
The page has two main areas: a form for your resume details and a live preview of the finished layout.
Choose your template if prompted.
Enter your personal details.
Add your work history, skills, and any other sections shown in the form.
Use the preview panel to check formatting and content as you edit.
The preview updates while you work, so you can spot layout or wording changes before you save.
Save a draft
When you want to keep your progress, click Save Draft. If you are editing a resume you already saved, the button may show Update Resume.
Saving stores your current draft so you can come back and keep editing later.
Download the PDF
When your resume looks right in the preview, click Export PDF to download a PDF copy.
Review the preview before exporting so your PDF matches the version you want to share.
What to do next
After you export your resume, you can upload it to the Job Tracker for resume analysis and job application workflows. See How to upload your resume to the job tracker and Using Career Agent to automate your job search.
