September brought a redesigned dashboard, Job Tracker and help for deciding where to apply, with company boards in Groups, a new Resume Analyzer, job families on your profile and a simpler Membership page.
Groups are rebuilt around what people learn when they apply:
The Resume Analyzer now answers one question: should you apply? Pick one of your pending applications or paste a job description, choose a resume, and get a verdict with Match, ATS and Success odds scores, the keywords you're missing, what to fix first and why an employer might say no. On Plus and above, you also see how you compare with people who got interviews and a strategy for the role. No job in mind? Run a general health check instead.
Add up to five job families to your profile to tune what you see. Open Profile, click Edit profile, and pick your families. Each family shows how many open roles it has, and the Job Tracker's board and your match alerts follow your choices.
Your dashboard now opens with a greeting, Check in today and Find opportunities buttons, your Career Pass card, and a Next up list of what to do next. Side panels show your Career Agent workflow, your check-ins this month and how complete your profile is. Choose your journey now sits further down the page. Settings are also regrouped into Account, Notifications and Security.
Rate your week by clicking a number from 1 to 10, then optionally pick what happened, such as Had an interview, and add a note. Your stats sit above your history, you edit or delete an entry with the icons beside it, and Preferences opens your email and data retention settings.
Jobs the Career Agent finds now appear in a table with the role, location, type and pay. Click Track on a row to save it to your tracker, or View tracker below the table to open the Job Tracker.
Achievements are now grouped into Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum shelves, with your Points History beside them. The Career Pass tab shows your available points, what they're worth, your lifetime points and tier, and the Customise your card panel.
The Subscription page is now Membership. Choose a plan and billing option, then click Subscribe to or Upgrade to the plan to pay on Stripe's secure checkout, and you come straight back to your membership once it's confirmed. From your membership card you can open Manage billing, Cancel membership at the end of your billing period, or Resubscribe.
August added resume grading and resume import to Resume Builder, email alerts for group posts, and a typo check at sign-up.
The sign-up and login page has a cleaner look, with Forgot Password? and Login with code instead sitting together below the Login button. When you create an account, we now check your email address for common misspellings of popular email providers and ask you to double-check it before you continue.
You now get an email when another member posts in one of your groups, with a link to view the group and to manage your group email notifications.
Click Grade Resume in Resume Builder to see a Resume Score out of 100 with a letter rating. Checks are grouped into categories such as Header & Target Role, Metrics & Impact, Summary and Skills, with a tip for every check that isn't passing yet. The score updates as you type.
The form also has new fields that sharpen the checks:
Use Import resume to fill in Resume Builder from a PDF, DOCX or TXT file of up to 8 MB. Your file is read in your browser and nothing is saved until you save your draft. You can add the imported details to blank fields only or replace your current draft, and anything that needs checking is flagged for review.
July made it easier to hear back from the team on your check-ins.
When the We Are Distributed team replies to one of your check-ins, we now also email you the reply along with your rating and note. You can respond by replying to the email. The reply still appears under the check-in as Response from the team.
June brought job search support groups, automatic group housekeeping, and more reliable plan syncing across the apps.
Support groups that stay inactive now get a warning after 25 days and are removed after 30 days, helping keep group spaces fresh and active. Group conversations can also include system-generated posts that are marked separately from member messages, making admin or automated updates easier to spot.
Members can now create and join support groups tied to a specific job or company. Inside a group, members can see who has joined and share updates with each other as they move through the application. A new Groups section has also been added to the main navigation, and your profile can show a photo as part of the updated experience.
May introduced a browser extension for tracking jobs, new admin tools for coaching check-ins, clearer insights into the job search pipeline, and more reliable visual cues when browsing roles.
The app now makes it easier to find the Chrome extension from inside the job tracker and the sidebar. Members can jump to the extension from more places without hunting for the download page.
New members now see the Chrome extension as part of the welcome checklist. Clicking the item takes them to the extension download page and marks it as complete, making it easier to get set up from day one.
Admins can now reply directly to job check-ins from the admin area, and members will see those replies in their check-in history. Eligible admins also have a clearer Admin entry in the main sidebar and can reach the management area from a direct admin route.
Members can now track jobs directly from supported job boards without leaving their browser, and the extension watches Gmail for recruiter emails to surface prompts when a message looks like a screening, interview, offer, or rejection update. We also improved the extension preview and setup flow with fresh screenshots, clearer branding, and a preview that matches the live popup more closely.
The insights page now counts employer activity more accurately, so saved jobs and hiring responses are less likely to distort the results. It also adds a new Most Competitive Employers view that highlights which employers are drawing the most applications, making it easier to spot crowded opportunities and understand how applications are moving through the pipeline.
The Find Jobs view now shows employer logos more reliably, even when a company's website was previously missing from the job data. If a logo is available, it should now show up more consistently beside the employer name.
File uploads now require a signed-in account, and downloaded files are checked more carefully before they can be opened. Certain file types that could be risky in a browser are now downloaded instead of shown directly, making shared files safer to access.

We removed the waitlist system, giving all members immediate access to the career manager and job board without needing to join a queue or complete achievements first. Free members can now explore jobs and use the job tracker right away.
The subscription page now shows one plan at a time with a cleaner layout, making it easier to compare options and choose the right tier for your needs. We released this to simplify the upgrade decision and reduce visual clutter when selecting between Lite, Plus, Extra, and Premium.
You can now purchase Lite or Plus membership directly from a public checkout page without creating an account first. After payment, you're taken to sign up with your email prefilled. We released this to remove barriers for members who want to upgrade quickly without navigating the full onboarding flow upfront.
Access to Resume Builder is now restricted to Plus members and above. Members on lower plans see a locked screen with an upgrade prompt when attempting to access the tool. We released this to align Resume Builder with the tier where it delivers the most value, given its advanced customization and export features.
Job tracker Kanban cards now have improved drag-and-drop handling, making it smoother to move applications between stages. We released this to reduce friction when organizing your pipeline.
