Full Stack Engineer (Node.js & TypeScript)

This role is part of our ScraperAPI team — one of the fastest-growing brands at saas.group.  

ScraperAPI is a powerful web scraping platform that enables businesses across a broad range of industries to gather large-scale, publicly available data efficiently. Supporting sectors from e-commerce to real estate, we help businesses turn web data into insights that power competitive advantages.  

We're currently in a dynamic phase of growth, scaling rapidly as demand continues to rise for reliable, high-performance data access at scale.

Profile Overview

We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our focused, agile engineering team to help deliver the next generation of resilient scraping infrastructure. You’ll work on high-scale systems that process billions of API requests per week , solve complex challenges in bot detection and bypassing, and help safeguard an exceptional product experience for our global customer base.  

Expect engaging technical challenges, ownership of systems critical to the business, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on customer value, product stability , and overall growth.  

Our Tech Stack: NodeJS, TypeScript, Redis, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis  

By the end of your first 6 months with us:  

• You will have a solid grasp of our codebase, dev tooling, and continuous delivery practices.
• You’ll have delivered multiple bug fixes and feature enhancements that improved customer experience and/or scalability.
• You’ll have successfully led the delivery of at least one significant feature or subsystem , from development to deployment.

Your responsibilities

• Help build, maintain, and enhance our high-throughput SaaS platform and scraping infrastructure.
• Ensure ongoing application stability and system performance , anchoring product quality and helping prevent churn.
• Work on new product capabilities around anti-bot bypassing and resilient scraping strategies.
• Monitor the application using our internal tooling, proactively troubleshoot , and resolve issues.
• Deliver both short-term fixes and longer-term development projects aligned with the product roadmap.
• Contribute via peer code reviews , knowledge-sharing with teammates, and collaborative development.

What You bring to the table

• At least 3 years of experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Proven track record working on high-scale SaaS platforms (handling tens of thousands of API calls per second)
• Deep knowledge of HTTP, headers, proxies, cookies, TLS and related protocols
• Clear interest and experience in scraping technologies , data parsing, and automation at scale
• A user-focused mindset — you build with impact and customer experience in mind
• Experience working in autonomous, fast-paced environments where initiative and ownership matter
