Your Mission
The Sidework Production Coordinator oversees ancillary projects (e.g., gutters, windows, siding, fencing, interior work) outside core roofing services. This role ensures efficient bidding, scheduling, and execution using tools like Acculynx, collaborating with consultants, the Roofing Production Manager, subcontractors, and the Director of Operations to drive operational excellence and support company growth.
Responsibilities:
- Job Intake and Planning : Monitor Acculynx for sidework requests, review scope for completeness, coordinate with the Roofing Production Manager to align timelines, solicit and present subcontractor bids, and flag issues for clarification.
- Coordination and Execution: Schedule installations, assign labor tickets, manage multi-trade projects, communicate proactively with subcontractors, and handle rescheduling due to delays (e.g., weather, homeowner issues).
- Monitoring and Optimization: Track project completion and quality, document subcontractor pricing trends, and provide sidework reports with actionable insights for management.
Requirements:
- Project Coordination Background: Prior experience in project coordination (required) or construction-related scheduling (a plus). Roofing-specific knowledge is not required.
- Self-Starter Mindset: High personal capacity, initiative, and the ability to move projects forward with minimal hand-holding.
- Problem-Solving Orientation : Comfortable troubleshooting issues (e.g., scheduling, weather, homeowner concerns) and bringing proactive solutions.
- Coachability & Growth: Open to feedback, eager to learn, and adaptable to new processes and tools.
- Communication Skills: Clear, professional communication with subcontractors, homeowners, and internal managers—both written and verbal.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn and use AccuLynx and other project management tools; proficiency with basic office software (Google Workspace or Microsoft Office).
- Detail Orientation: Organized, thorough, and capable of reviewing scopes and documentation for completeness.
- Work Ethic & Reliability: Dependable, accountable, and motivated to deliver excellence across multiple concurrent projects.
Schedule: 9AM - 5PM CST
Compensation & Benefits (to be provided by Offshore Launch):
- $1000 - $1500/mo. depending on experience
- Annual bonus up to 150% of monthly salary, including $500 bonus at 90-days contingent on performance evaluation scores
- 13th month pay
- 16 Days PTO
- Comprehensive HMO policy, including dependents.
