Through its institutional-grade platform, Hiive brings together buyers, sellers, and issuers to facilitate secondary transactions in venture-backed, pre-IPO companies, introducing efficiency, transparency, and standardization to an otherwise opaque asset class.
Recognized as one of Canada’s fastest-growing companies and backed by leading U.S. investors, Hiive is profitable, well-capitalized, and building a high-performance team to meet growing demand and pursue new market opportunities.

As an Associate, Operations Strategy , you will be joining our operations team at a pivotal inflection point in Hiive's growth, embedding as a trusted partner to one of our core revenue-generating teams. You will own the systems that power their work end-to-end, partner with industry experts and GTM engineers to automate complex workflows, and bridge the gap between strategic intent and technical execution. This is hands-on, high-leverage work — you won't just be managing tools, you will be scoping, building, and scaling them from the ground up. If you thrive in high-intensity environments and want to leave an indelible mark on a rapidly evolving industry, we want to work with you.
In this role, your responsibilities would include:
- Vertical ownership: Serve as an operations partner to your assigned GTM team, understanding their workflows, KPIs, and pain points with greater fluency than anyone outside the team.
- Tool spike: Scope, implement, administer, and own the systems most critical to your vertical — which could range from outbound and lifecycle platforms (Outreach,Customer.io) to market intelligence tools (Pitchbook) to workflow and project systems, to post-trade and financial platforms, depending on the pod. You will be the power user, the admin, and the expert.
- Salesforce fluency: Own the Salesforce work for your vertical — reports, dashboards, flows, page layouts, validation rules — and partner with our dedicated Salesforce team on complex architectural builds.
- AI-enabled productivity: Partner with our GTM engineers to implement AI workflows that automate manual work, surface proprietary insights, and scale the human judgment of our sales and trading team.
- Data-driven iteration: Analyze performance metrics and conversion data to report on what's working, iterate on what isn't, and raise the bar on operational hygiene.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work daily with sales and trading, compliance, legal, marketing, and product to translate market insights into automated workflows and scalable systems.
- Process innovation: Identify bottlenecks in your vertical's revenue lifecycle and deploy automated solutions to clear them, maintaining a high bar for data integrity at every step.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of progressive experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a highly analytical GTM role within a high-growth startup or fintech, or 2+ years of such experience combined with experience in consulting, investment banking, or finance.
- Systems builder's mindset: Hands-on experience implementing, administering, or significantly re-architecting business systems end-to-end. You have owned tools, not just used them.
- AI-native mindset: You are already using AI tools to accelerate your own workflow and have a point of view on how LLMs and agents can transform traditional revenue operations.
- Technical proficiency: Strong Salesforce skills are a must. Experience with Airtable, SQL, and modern BI tools (Omni, Tableau, Looker) is a significant plus.
- Systems thinking: You are a big-picture thinker, capable of visualizing large inter-dependent systems and understanding how to build scalable operations that can handle explosive growth.
- Bias for action and growth mindset: You move fast, operate with intensity, and take real ownership of your projects from initial concept to long-term impact. You see opportunity wherever you look.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience within a fintech or marketplace environment, ideally with exposure to capital markets or trading.
- Understanding of financial services regulations and compliance considerations in a sales context.
- Experience in a B2B sales environment with complex sales cycles.
- Prior depth in one or more of the tool categories above — outbound/lifecycle, market intelligence, workflow/project, or post-trade/financial systems.
Compensation, Benefits & Perks:
- Highly competitive salary commensurate with experience and contribution.
- Opportunity to participate in ownership of a rapidly growing company through our employee stock option plan.
- Comprehensive 100% employer-paid health and dental premiums, a health and personal spending account.
- If you are based in Vancouver, enjoy a dedicated desk in our Vancouver, BC HQ, in the heart of downtown, with a fridge stocked with healthy snacks and drinks, an onsite gym, and a gorgeous rooftop amenity.
- Enjoy a $20-per-day commuter benefit for every day you work in our Vancouver HQ.
- An engaging social calendar, including bi-weekly catered lunches, bi-weekly “Friday bar,” team workouts, annual summer party, and holiday party, two “onsite” all-team retreats each year, semi-annual team-building events, and Hiive Women’s Network events.
- Significant opportunities for growth into team leadership and management roles.
- Entrepreneurial culture and a small and dynamic team.
- Sponsorship, immigration, and relocation for exceptional candidates.
