Your Role:

​

As a Brokerage Operations Executive, you will support the day-to-day operations that power Alpaca’s brokerage infrastructure and ensure a smooth trading experience for our customers. You will play a key role in monitoring operational workflows, assisting with trade lifecycle processes, and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of brokerage data.

​

Based in ourGIFT City (Gujarat International Finance Tec-City) office, you will work closely with teams across operations, compliance, engineering, and customer support to ensure that brokerage activities run reliably and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

​

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is detail-oriented, curious about financial markets, and eager to build expertise in brokerage operations within a fast-growing fintech environment. You will gain hands-on exposure to the mechanics of trading, settlement processes, and operational workflows that support modern brokerage platforms.

​

Things You Get To Do:

​

• Support daily brokerage operations including trade monitoring, settlement, and operational workflows
• Assist in performing reconciliations between internal systems and external partners
• Investigate and help resolve operational discrepancies or trade exceptions
• Support account operations including onboarding checks, funding workflows, and operational requests
• Assist with corporate actions, dividends, and other lifecycle events affecting customer accounts
• Work with internal teams to escalate and resolve operational issues impacting customers
• Help document operational procedures and contribute to improving operational processes
• Support operational readiness for new product launches and platform updates

Who You Are (Must-Haves):

​

• 0–2 years of experience in financial services, brokerage operations, fintech, or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with operational data accurately
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Interest in financial markets and brokerage operations

Who You Might Be (Nice-to-Haves):

​

• Internship or prior exposure to brokerage operations, trading operations, or financial markets
• Familiarity with equities trading, settlement, or capital markets concepts
• Experience working with spreadsheets or basic data analysis tools
• Knowledge of regulatory environments related to financial services
• Experience working in a startup or fintech environment

Location Requirement:

​

This role isbased onsite in GIFT City, Gujarat, and requires working from the office in accordance with regulatory and operational requirements.
