Your Role

Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing Polygon Labs’ global accounting operations. This is a hands-on opportunity to work at the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets, where you will help ensure financial integrity in a rapidly evolving environment. If you are a CPA with crypto-native accounting experience and are excited about building scalable processes in a high-growth, innovative company, this role offers a unique chance to contribute to the future of digital payments infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities

You will support core accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance across multiple entities and jurisdictions, with a focus on accuracy, scalability, and audit readiness.

• Execute month-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, prepaid schedules, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Reconcile bank accounts and digital asset wallets with high transaction volumes
• Account for complex financial instruments (including investment agreements, loan facilities, SAFEs/SAFTs, and warrants) in accordance with US GAAP
• Perform entity-level financial statement flux and variance analysis (horizontal and vertical) for subsidiaries
• Assist in preparing US GAAP financial statements and footnote disclosures across global entities
• Maintain audit-ready workpapers and support external audits and regulatory reporting, including U.S. state filing requirements related to money transmitter licenses
• Perform crypto subledger reconciliations between NetSuite and digital asset systems, including rollforwards and supporting schedules
• Document accounting treatment for digital asset transactions and support evolving policy development
• Contribute to process improvements and support automation initiatives, including AI-driven reconciliation and reporting workflows

What You'll Need

• CPA with 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including exposure to complex accounting areas under US GAAP
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with crypto or digital asset accounting
• Experience using NetSuite in a production accounting environment
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Big 4 audits
• Background in regulatory compliance and audits within financial services, including money transmitter licensing
• Familiarity with stablecoins, payments infrastructure, or tokenized financial instruments
• Experience with crypto subledger tools and systems
