Senior Director Compensation and Total Rewards

As our Senior Director, Total Rewards & Compensation, you will lead how Natera competes for talent globally through data-driven compensation strategy, equitable pay practices, and holistic benefits. You will scale modern total rewards programs for a high-growth, mission-driven public company, leveraging market intelligence, pay equity insights, HRIS platforms, and advanced analytics to drive competitive and transparent decisions.

  • Collaboration: Partner closely with executives and cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, and Legal.

  • Growth & Development: Lead high-impact transformation work with visibility across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Set global strategy for total rewards and compensation aligned with business and talent objectives.

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on executive compensation, incentives, equity, and benefits.

  • Design and manage compensation frameworks across base pay, incentives, and equity.

  • Lead market benchmarking, pay equity analysis, and data-driven compensation decisions.

  • Advance global benefits programs that are inclusive and competitive.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and governance standards.

  • Manage vendor and broker relationships.

  • Partner cross-functionally to align rewards programs with business strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field with 10+ years of progressive experience in total rewards.

  • Significant leadership experience in a global, publicly traded organization.

  • Expertise in executive compensation and experience working with Compensation Committees and Boards.

  • Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide compensation review cycles across salaried and hourly populations.

  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency.

  • Deep knowledge of market benchmarking, pay equity, and compliance.

  • Experience scaling compensation programs in high-growth environments.

  • Strong executive presence and stakeholder influence.

  • Experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms is highly valued.

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
