Job Summary:We are seeking a Sr. Director, Product Management, UHNW Platform to lead the strategy and evolution of the platform supporting Mercer Advisor’s Regis Group—our integrated offering designed to serve ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients with complex, family office–level needs.This role has end-to-end responsibility for the product strategy, client and advisor experience, and technology roadmap for the Regis platform. You will define how the platform—spanning people, process, and technology—should evolve to support a highly differentiated client segment, translating complex business needs into clear product direction, well-architected workflows, and actionable requirements.Operating at the intersection of business, operations, and technology, you will own what we build and why, working in close partnership with external partners and the technology team, responsible for how solutions are built, and with the advisory teams who use those solutions and are responsible for delivering successful client outcomes. While highly strategic in scope, this role is also hands-on, requiring direct engagement in discovery, workflow design, and product definition.A critical aspect of this role is developing a deep understanding of how advisors, investment professionals, tax specialists, estate planning strategists, and operational teams work in practice. You will engage directly with stakeholders across the organization—observing workflows, identifying friction points, and synthesizing often inconsistent inputs into clear problem definitions and scalable platform solutions.The ideal candidate thrives in complexity, brings structure to ambiguity, and balances strategic vision with disciplined execution and follow-through to measurable business results.
Essential Job Functions for this role include:Product strategy, discovery, and client experience ownershipDefine and own the product vision and multi-year roadmap for the Regis platform to balance near-term priorities with long-term transformational goalsTranslate business strategy, client needs, and advisor feedback into a cohesive, prioritized product directionDevelop a deep, first-hand understanding of workflows across advisors, clients, and operational teams through direct engagementSynthesize diverse and sometimes conflicting inputs into clear problem statements and high-impact opportunitiesIdentify root causes of friction and design scalable, integrated workflows that improve client and advisor experienceBring structure to an evolving environment, shifting from reactive development to intentional product designProduct definition and solution designTranslate Regis Ultra High Net Worth and Family Office business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and process flowsLead product discovery and solution design to ensure the right problems are being solvedPartner with engineering and architecture teams to design solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned to long-term platform goalsEnsure consistency and integration across a multi-system platform ecosystemOwn Regis platform adoption to drive utilization of new process flows, measure advisor and client engagement with platform capabilities, and provide hands-on enablement support to ensure use as designedRoadmap management and delivery executionDefine and manage a prioritized product roadmap, balancing business impact, user needs, technical constraints, and dependenciesAlign roadmap decisions with strategic objectives while operating within budget and resource constraintsPartner with internal technology team and external partners to translate priorities into execution plansRemain actively engaged through delivery to ensure outcomes align with product intent and business objectivesCross-functional leadership and platform stewardshipServe as the central point of alignment across Product, Technology, Operations, Investments, Compliance, and external partnersFacilitate decision-making across competing priorities, trade-offs, and sequencing considerationsInfluence stakeholders at all levels without direct authority and lead cross-functional initiativesOversee the evolution of a multi-system platform ecosystem, ensuring it remains integrated, scalable, and aligned to long-term needs
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:10+ years of experience in product management, platform strategy, or related rolesExperience with UHNW or family office environmentsProven experience leading complex, multi-system platform initiatives in cross-functional environmentsDemonstrated ability to operate across both strategic planning and hands-on executionStrong experience in product discovery, workflow design, and requirements definitionTrack record of translating complex business needs into well-designed product solutionsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authorityStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with comfort operating in ambiguous environmentsBachelor’s degree requiredPreferred QualificationsExperience in wealth management, financial services, or investment platformsExperience with CRM systems, portfolio management tools, and client reporting platformsBackground in operating model design, process transformation, or platform modernizationAwareness of industry trends and emerging practices in wealth management technologyWhat Success Looks LikeA clearly defined and aligned product roadmap supporting the growth of the Regis platformMeasurable improvements in client and advisor experience and adoption of both new and existing capabilitiesA cohesive, scalable platform that reduces friction and improves operational efficiencyStrong cross-functional alignment and effective prioritizationDelivery of solutions that are well-designed, integrated, and aligned with long-term strategy
Work Schedule:This professional role requires availability during standard business hours of Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM. At times, the role may have early or late hours to meet business tasks and deadlines for external and internal client needs.All roles classified as a non-exempt are required to record working time into the timekeeping system daily at the start and end of each workday plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch period.
Working Conditions:This position may be in a professional office environment or a dedicated home office workspace which is free of interruptions. Whether position is in a dedicated office space or home office workspace, basic technology needs will be provided to satisfy position requirements. Routinely sitting and standing for periods of time. No heavy lifting over 10 lbs.
