About the role As the engineering leader on our Consumer team, you will oversee teams responsible for the direct to consumer user experience. In this role, you will work closely with Product, Design, User Research, and other stakeholders to build fullstack features that educate and support users through the pre-application, application, package select, and checkout funnels. You will lead, strategize, develop and execute projects to optimize conversion rates through AB tests. You will collaborate with our Underwriting, Enterprise Sales, and Data engineering teams to support the entire user and event lifecycle and data model. You will work with Senior Engineers to decompose an existing monolithic application into scalable micro services.
The Consumer team is responsible for the customer journey and is the largest revenue driver across the company. You will be joining at a critical time to drive outsized impact, define organizational strategy and shape team culture.
