Senior Product Manager, Carrier Portal

First Connect Insurance Services is a digital platform providing independent insurance agents access to top US carriers and the optionality necessary to grow their businesses. Agents can work with over 130 carriers, selling various insurance policies, including home, auto, small business, and more. We’re on a mission to overhaul the technology agents have access to, putting consumer-grade software at their fingertips. We’ve got thousands of active agents with hundreds joining monthly and we plan to accelerate our growth.

The Role:

​

The senior PM, Carrier Portal, will own this exciting area, creating a whole new track focused on FC’s insurance carrier partners. The process will rely on creating and maintaining strong partnerships with our customers, and even more so with a few select design partners.

​

This area will consist of exposing crucial data to the carriers, along with functionality enabling them to grow their business profitably and efficiently. It will further set First Connect apart from the competition, both on the service level and technologically.

What You’ll Do:

​

• Build and maintain relationships with insurance carriers.
• Lead carrier-facing discovery, research, and ideation.
• Create the Carrier Portal’s vision, along with its long-term roadmap.
• Drive user adoption of the new tools.
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, and the Business.

About You:

​

You are an experienced product manager with a bias for action. You thrive on the ownership of high-profile full product launches, while influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and making data- driven business decisions. You demonstrate tenacity, resilience, and leadership enabling you to organize and lead projects, propose solutions, and overcome challenges.

Requirements:

​

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, owning and driving significant cross-organizational, user-facing projects in either B2B or B2C fields.
• Proven ability to create and steer product vision and strategy.
• Creative thinking paired with strong execution.
• Track record of leading user interviews.
• Demonstrated data analysis capabilities.
• Strong UX sense and experience.
• Great communication and presentation skills.
• Comfort with rapidly changing business needs typical of a fast-growing company.
• Experience working in an international company.
• BS degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

​

• Engineering or Quality Assurance experience.
• Prior startup experience.
• Experience with consumer-facing products is a plus.
