Senior Product Marketing Manager (global)

beehiiv is where the world's best newsletters, podcasts, and digital products are built, grown, and distributed.

The platform combines email, podcast hosting, websites, community, and digital products — connected to a single audience and a single set of tools to publish, grow, and monetize.

As we approach $50M in annualized revenue and continue to grow 100% YoY, our rapidly growing product suite and incredibly strong brand positions us for the next stage of hypergrowth.

Your job will be part product marketer, part product evangelist, and part integrated marketer. The role is to drive awareness and adoption of core features and products by understanding them better than almost anyone, telling stories that make their value obvious, and executing the campaigns that put those stories in front of the right creators and brands.

This is not a traditional product marketing role. While there is real strategy, positioning, and storytelling here, there is also a lot of getting your hands dirty. In a typical week, you might record a product walkthrough for an upcoming launch, reach out to chat with a bunch of customers about some news messaging, collaborate with lifecycle and product to design a personalized in-app trigger that drives adoption of a paid feature, write some copy for a release, and then fly to New York to run point on a major brand moment with creators.

You will partner closely with product, design, engineering, analytics, lifecycle, social, and the rest of marketing. You will report directly to the CMO.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Experience: 5+ years in product marketing, integrated marketing, growth marketing, or a closely related role at a high-growth SaaS startup or scaleup. Bonus points if you've marketed creator tools, media products, or anything where the product itself is the marketing.
  • Generalist Range: You have shipped content, written positioning, run campaigns, and rewritten website copy. You are equally comfortable in a doc, in Figma, in front of a camera, or in a dashboard.
  • Strong Product Sense: You can pick up a new feature, immediately see what is and isn't going to land with users, and articulate exactly why. You have strong opinions about product, and product teams want you in the room.
  • Storytelling Chops: You can take a complex feature and turn it into something a creator actually wants to share. Video, longform, social, in-app: you know which format fits which message, and you can execute on most of them yourself.
  • Bias Toward Big Swings: You don't just execute against the playbook, you create them. You can brainstorm a big idea with the team, and then pull it all together without breaking a sweat – and make sure it actually breaks through.
  • AI-Native: You’re tech-savvy and AI-native. You’re an early adopter and often build smart, AI-powered workflows that compress what used to take a team into something one motivated person can ship in a week. You'll blow us away with both your creativity and your efficiency.
  • beehiiv Obsession: You already love what we're building, you have opinions on where we should take it, and you want to shout about it from the rooftops in a thoughtful, product-centric way. Bonus points if you’re already a beehiiv user.

What you'll be responsible for:

Driving adoption of the product:

  • Own awareness and adoption goals for specific features and parts of the product, especially monetized surfaces and high-intent paid features.
  • Partner with lifecycle, product, design, and engineering to design in-app moments, personalized triggers, and onboarding flows that convert users at the right time.
  • Translate product capabilities into clear positioning and messaging that lands with creators, publishers, and brands

Storytelling and content:

  • Produce video, longform, and social content that explains what our product does, who it's for, and why it matters.
  • Write and rewrite website messaging so it accurately reflects what the product can do today and where it's going.
  • Partner with product and design to build launch assets that match the quality of the features they support.

Big swings and brand moments:

  • Build and execute campaigns that put beehiiv in front of more creators and brands. That includes launch campaigns, in-person activations, and partnerships with high-profile creators and publishers.
  • Be on the ground when it matters. If there's a brand moment we’re pulling together, you’re likely to be helping to execute (or running it).

Cross-functional partnership:

  • Work closely with product, design, engineering, analytics, lifecycle, social, and the rest of marketing.
  • Bring back signal from the field and from the data, and turn it into the next launch, the next message, and the next campaign.

Why this role might be for you:

  • You're a generalist marketer with real product marketing experience, and you've been waiting for a role that lets you do all of it.
  • You love beehiiv, and you want a role where the expectation is that you become a true expert on the product.
  • You like operating between strategy and execution, and you don't want a role that lives only on one side of that line.
  • You have strong opinions about how AI should be used in a marketing function, and you want to prove that one well-equipped marketer can outproduce a much bigger team.
  • You want to ship fast, swing big, and see the impact of your work show up in real adoption numbers.

Why this role might not be for you:

  • You’re looking for a traditional product marketing role, or are looking for a deep specialist track in a single discipline (PMM, content, brand, or lifecycle).
  • You prefer to wait for a brief and execute against it rather than identifying the gap and owning the solution.
  • Your previous experience is more ‘marketing than growth’. You haven’t had an adoption, expansion, or retention focus before.
  • You're less interested in doing your own video, your own decks, your own copy, or your own AI tooling or haven't built an AI-powered workflow before and don't have a strong point of view on where AI changes the marketing org.
  • Fast-paced startups are not where you do your best work.

Why beehiiv?

  • Bias towards action: Our first impulse is to act. We don't get bogged down in unnecessary processes or bullsh**. Perfection is the enemy of progress.
  • Ownership mentality: This company is ours. We go the extra mile because that's what owners do. Every day, people step up to take on tasks outside of their responsibilities and do whatever it takes for us to succeed.
  • Building is in our DNA: We are obsessed with improving every aspect of our platform (and ourselves). Whether it's our product, support, or partnerships, we never stop working to improve it.
  • We answer to our users: Nothing matters more than serving our users. If our users fail, we fail.
  • Ego comes second, but winning comes first: We put our egos aside to work collaboratively and build something special. It doesn't matter whose idea or whose vision, we're here to create the best outcome. We're here to win.

We'll take care of you:

  • Competitive Salary
  • Stock Options
  • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • 401(k) Employer Match
  • Unlimited PTO (mandatory 10 days per year minimum)
  • Annual In-person Team Retreat
  • Unlimited Book Budget
  • Monthly Wellness Days (every third Friday of the month!)
