We're looking for a hands-on, execution-focusedSenior Software Engineerwho is passionate about building reliable, high-quality software. This role sits at the intersection of full-stack development and QA, with a strong emphasis on testing, validation, and improving quality within an existing system.
We’re open to candidates from different backgrounds, including:
- Full-stack engineers with a strong QA/testing focus, or
- QA engineers with meaningful hands-on development experience
You’ll work closely with product and engineering partners to implement features, improve test coverage, and maintain reliability over time. We’re looking for someone to be a team multiplier who brings strong technical judgment and can own quality for larger areas of the system.
Ideally, you will have:
- 5–8 years of professional experience in software engineering and/or QA
- Strong experience building and maintaining React.js applications in production
- Experience with Ruby / Ruby on Rails or similar MVC backend frameworks
- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Jest)
- Experience designing, writing, and maintaining automated test suites
- Solid understanding of modern web application stacks (frontend + backend)
- Comfort collaborating in cross-functional teams and influencing quality decisions
- Strong attention to detail and a consistent quality-first mindset
Also nice to have, but not necessary:
- Experience in improving or maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with REST APIs and backend services
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
