Site Operations Associate

Deliveroo Editions brings the best of the local food scene to customers everywhere via bespoke delivery-only kitchens. As an Operations Associate, you’ll work with the Site Manager, Assistant Manager, and restaurant partners to ensure smooth day-to-day site operations—including maintaining kitchens, meeting health, safety, and hygiene standards, managing stock, supporting dine-in areas, and enhancing both kitchen and site efficiency.

You will be working alongside the Site Manager whilst working closely with up to 10 Head Chefs and their kitchen staff.

• Managing the day-to-day running of a Deliveroo Editions site; meeting health & safety standards, managing stock deliveries, site cleanliness etc
• Improving our restaurant partners' kitchen operational efficiency
• Improving site efficiency and reducing site operational costs
• Liaising with our restaurant account management and rider operations teams to improve our overall site performance

What You’ll Be Doing

• Ensure the site remains fully operational at all times, addressing maintenance issues, upholding health and safety regulations, maintaining food hygiene standards across all kitchens, and overseeing stock deliveries.
• Support Head Chefs in maximizing operational efficiency, including managing labor costs, stock control, and optimizing service and prep times.
• Liaise with restaurant account management and rider operations teams to drive overall site performance for both customers and restaurant brands.
• Lead on-site training, development, and career progression initiatives to benefit restaurant teams.
• Oversee all site logistics, including preparation, order receiving, stock deliveries, procurement, staffing costs, and P&L management.
• Effectively handle conflict, operational, and logistical challenges, managing multiple situations and ensuring high service standards throughout your shift.
• Maintain a calm and solution-focused approach under pressure. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and a friendly, energetic attitude while working in a fast-paced environment alongside chefs, delivery riders, and other team members. Capable of managing large volumes of data while multitasking during demanding hours.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment, such as contract catering, operations, events, or restaurants.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weeknights and weekends; you will typically be scheduled for 2 out of every 3 weekend nights, with Friday and Saturday evenings being the busiest.
• Physically demanding role; responsible for ensuring all deliveries are ready for rider pick-up, coordinating multiple kitchens, and conducting weekly audits of Restaurant Partner kitchens.
• Confident and friendly in guest-facing situations, with experience in a Front of House environment within dine-in areas and a positive, helpful attitude.
• Possess a can-do, resilient mindset and a strong desire to grow with one of the world’s fastest-growing food-tech companies.
• Fluency in English is required.
