As the Base44 for Good Lead, you'll own a portfolio of impact projects from the first conversation to live solution. You'll work with researchers, clinicians, founders, and nonprofit teams to identify challenges, define clear solutions, and collaborate with our builders to bring them to life.Job DescriptionAs Base44 for Good Lead, you’ll lead a diverse portfolio of approximately 20-30 concurrent projects, guiding each from the first partner conversation through discovery, solution definition, build, and delivery. You’ll balance partner needs, project readiness, potential impact, and builder capacity - ensuring every project has clear priorities, owners, decisions, and next steps.This is a hands-on, cross-functional role at the intersection of healthcare, product, and AI. You’ll work closely with external partners and internal builders, turning complex needs into focused product direction and helping teams make steady progress across a large, changing portfolio.What you’ll doLead a portfolio of concurrent projects.Maintain a clear picture of each project’s goals, stakeholders, status, dependencies, risks, and next steps, while managing a workload of around 20 active initiatives.Set priorities and manage trade-offs.Assess impact, urgency, feasibility, partner readiness, and team capacity to determine what needs attention and when - and communicate those decisions clearly.Lead partner discovery.Work with clinicians, researchers, founders, hospital teams, and nonprofit partners to understand the real problem, the people affected, and what a useful outcome would be.Turn complex needs into actionable product direction.Define focused solutions, workflows, requirements, and success criteria that builders can understand and act on.Partner with builders throughout delivery.Clarify requirements, resolve open questions, incorporate feedback, and keep the solution aligned with the partner’s needs as it takes shape.Coordinate across teams and organizations.Bring in the right people, align stakeholders, manage dependencies, and remove bottlenecks without relying on direct authority.Navigate constraints thoughtfully.Identify relevant privacy, regulatory, and operational considerations, particularly in healthcare, and help teams find responsible, practical ways forward.Keep partners and teams aligned.Communicate progress, surface risks and decisions early, and make sure each project has a clear path to its next milestone.Learn from delivery.Follow up on completed work to understand what is useful, what needs improvement, and what the next step should be.Qualifications6+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects in parallel, with different timelines and competing priorities.Experience leading cross-functional work and influencing people without direct authority.A background in medicine, life sciences, healthcare, clinical research, or digital health- for example, as a physician, resident, biologist, clinical researcher, or digital-health professional- and a strong understanding of the healthcare environment.Excellent prioritization and organizational skills: you can distinguish essential work from nice-to-haves while maintaining attention to detail.Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and resourcefulness when working within constraints.The ability to translate complex or ambiguous needs into clear plans and actionable requirements.Fluency in English.Technical understanding and curiosity about AI and software, with the ability to collaborate effectively with builders.Nice to haveExperience in oncology or cancer research.Experience working with hospitals, healthcare organizations, or health-tech startups.Familiarity with healthcare regulation and medical-data privacy.Additional InformationWe’re Base44, a newly acquired part of Wix, on a mission to redefine how software is built.
