About Rebuilt:

Our parent company, Rebuilt is a Private Equity-backed Firm that specializes in off-market real estate transactions, including wholesale transactions and assignable contracts. Rebuilt primarily work with investors who are purchasing a property to renovate and keep as an investment property of flip after improvements on the MLS. Our title company National Title Services, NTS, assists in the title side of this process to ensure all transactions are done efficiently and in compliance with different states. We are looking for a remote Escrow Agent who will diligently manage, review and close transactions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process/Prepare real estate transactions included closing statements
  • Respond to inquiries from borrowers, lenders and investors
  • Schedule closings and management of closing calendar

Skills Required to Perform the Primary Responsibilities of this position:

  • Licensed Title Insurance agent five years prior real estate and or title insurance experience: ability to review and understand real estate contracts, title commitments and closing documents
  • Advanced knowledge of the entire title process from beginning to end
  • Clean financial background for bank accounts
  • Manage escrow transactions from opening through funding, recording, and policy issuance.
  • Review title commitments and identify title requirements, defects, and curative items.
  • Prepare Closing Disclosures (CDs), ALTA Settlement Statements, HUDs (when applicable), and other closing documents.
  • Verify lender instructions and ensure all closing conditions have been satisfied.
  • Balance escrow accounts and settlement statements accurately.
  • Schedule and coordinate remote, mobile, attorney, and mail-away closings.
  • Review executed documents for completeness prior to funding.
  • Coordinate recording of deeds, mortgages, deeds of trust, satisfactions, and other legal documents.

  • Snapdocs knowledge
  • State-Specific Knowledge in PA, NJ, NC, SC, TN would be ideal
  • Effectively interact/communicate, verbally and in writing
  • Detailed, organized and task oriented
  • Able to solve problems and to meet timelines
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Dependable and self-motivated
