The FSS center for EMEA region is based in Krakow, Poland and is serving as a chief accounting and controllership function for all affiliates and manufacturing plants in the region, providing support in US GAAP accounting, tax and statutory compliance and reporting and in selected FP&A and order to cash processes. The center was established in 2013.Job Summary:Manages local statutory accounting and reporting processes for selected entities within EMEA region, supporting audits and tax deliverables.Key Responsibilities:Statutory Filings:Prepare annual financial statements in line with Local GAAP requirements for group legal entities.GAAP Reconciliation:Ensure reconciliation between Local GAAP and US GAAP.Audit Coordination:Manage statutory calendars, working with auditors and departments. Own the process of addressing auditors’ requests.Tax Compliance:Assist with tax provisions and returns.Policy Implementation:Implement accounting policies/standards.Improvement Initiatives:Identify and drive process improvements.QualificationsEducational Background:Master's degree in Finance/Accounting.Experience:5+ years financial accounting in international settings; statutory accounts hands on knowledge.
