Freelance Software Tester (Wave FM and/or Mixx by Yas)

We're currently looking for freelancers based in Senegal who have phone numbers associated with Wave, Wave FM, or Mixx by Yas to take part in a live payment testing session with one of our clients.

What this task involves and why: Our client is testing their payment/checkout experience and needs real users to complete a live transaction on a call so they can observe and improve the process. As part of this, you'll be asked to make a small purchase (approximately 1–2 USD) using your own mobile money account, while sharing your screen so the client can see how the payment flow works in real time.

To be clear on the money: You will not lose any funds. The small purchase is refunded live on the call by the provider, and if anything ever goes wrong, Testlio guarantees full reimbursement. You are paid by Testlio through our standard hourly freelancer process (PayPal or Payoneer) — you are never asked to send money to an individual or to Testlio directly.

No professional software testing experience is required. If you're comfortable communicating in English on a live call and walking through a purchase on your own account, we'd love to hear from you.

Requirements:

• You must currently live in Senegal.
• You must have a phone number associated with Wave, Wave FM, or Mixx by Yas.
• You must be comfortable communicating in English during a live call.
• You must be willing to share your email address and record your screen during the payment process.
• You must be comfortable completing a small purchase (approximately 1–2 USD) during the session, which is refunded live on the call, with full reimbursement guaranteed by Testlio if needed.
• You must have access to a MacOS, Windows, Android, or iPhone device.

What does testing look like?

• Type of testing: Live payment testing session with the client.
• Type of work: Short-term, freelance, one-time.
• Structure: A single live call, hopefully during the week of June 8th.
• Pay rate: [insert rate] USD/hr.
• Payment: Hourly rate and reimbursement processed within 7 days of task completion, paid via PayPal or Payoneer in USD, which you can convert to local currency.
