Implementation Solutions Engineer (Post-Sales), Agentic AI (NY, SF, Austin)

Lavendo partners with startups and high‑growth companies to help them hire top‑tier sales, GTM, and technical talent. This role is with one of our clients; we’ll share full details about the company and interview process as we get to know you and confirm mutual fit.

About the Company

Our client is a Series E, agentic AI company founded in 2017, the company has grown to 500+ employees by building AI agents that plug directly into the workflows housing and healthcare teams already use: touring, leasing, maintenance requests, resident communication, appointment scheduling, intake forms, and provider communication. The core business has real revenue and real customers. They have passed $200M in ARR and has doubled revenue five years in a row. It recently raised $350M at a $4B valuation. Large property management companies and healthcare organizations use it every day.

The Mission

The company's founding mission is to fix housing and healthcare with agentic AI – replacing manual, repetitive work with intelligent automation so residents, patients, providers, and staff get their time back.

The Opportunity

As an Implementation & Delivery Solutions Engineer, you'd own enterprise implementations from the moment Sales hands the deal over until the customer goes live. With fresh funding behind it, the company is investing heavily in this function. You'll work across a multi-product platform where every vertical has its own technical depth, so the work won't get stale. The company has very few PMs, so Solutions Engineers drive product feedback to Engineering directly. If you want to shape what gets built as well as what gets deployed, this role does that.

What You'll Do

  • Run each implementation end to end: scoping, configuration, testing, go-live.
  • Work with Sales on handoffs, and with CSMs and Engagement Managers so the customer gets one consistent experience.
  • Sit down with customers, map how they actually work, and turn that into a clear plan.
  • Lead several implementations at once across product verticals.
  • Get into the data and API layer: integrations, data migration, and making sure everything lands correctly.
  • Go on-site with customers (about 25% travel) to build trust in person.
  • Pass what you learn to Product and Engineering.
  • Help build the playbooks, config templates, and onboarding frameworks the next hires will use.
  • Hand finished implementations to the Product Expert SEs who handle ongoing support.

What You Bring

  • 3–7 years in a customer-facing technical role (SE, Implementation Engineer, or TAM) and owned both the tech and the relationship.
  • Experience running multiple configuration-heavy implementations at once, such as CRM or multi-vertical SaaS.
  • The ability to scope, configure, and troubleshoot API integrations and data flows without waiting on engineering.
  • A technical degree (CS, engineering, or similar).
  • A track record working with Engineering, Sales, CS, and Product.
  • Ownership of post-sales implementations at a SaaS startup, from discovery to go-live.
  • You can explain complex things clearly to engineers and to non-technical stakeholders alike.
  • Willingness to travel about 25% for on-site implementations, and to be in the office 4–5 days a week.

Bonus points:

  • Data migration experience, SQL and BI tools (Looker, Tableau).

Key Success Drivers

  • Take ownership and drive to the finish without being chased.
  • Stay calm when the plan is still being written.
  • Work hard and move fast in a startup.
  • Build trust with customers and handle escalations.
  • Stay curious about APIs and data, and pick up new tools quickly.
  • Bring teams together around a customer.
  • Want to influence the product through what you see in the field.
