This role is based out of our Amsterdam office.

​

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physical Security professional to oversee and manage the physical security operations for Reddit's office locations across the EMEA region, with a primary focus on our sites in Amsterdam, Berlin, Dublin, and London . This role, seated in the Amsterdam office, will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust physical security program that safeguards our employees, executives, and physical assets within these key European markets.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader capable of developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and programs that address the unique challenges of a dynamic technology environment across multiple countries. Responsibilities include developing and overseeing site-specific crisis management and business continuity plans, and directing the response to physical security incidents within the region.

Required Qualifications:

​

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in corporate physical security, with significant experience in developing and implementing security programs within the European market.
• Proven experience managing physical security operations across multiple sites, with direct experience in or strong knowledge of security practices in Amsterdam, Berlin, Dublin, and London .
• Strong knowledge of security technologies and systems.
• Experience in employee security and office security.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel frequently within the EMEA region as required.
• Certifications such as CPP, PSP, or similar are highly desirable.
• Experience working within a fast-paced technology environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters degree in a related field.
• Fluency in multiple European languages (e.g., German, Dutch, French).
• Experience working with international security providers and understanding of diverse regulatory landscapes within EMEA.
