We're building the operating system for in-house legal. As a Product Designer at GC AI, you'll own the end-to-end design of a platform that's evolving from AI copilot to full workflow orchestration and autonomous legal teams. You'll tackle hard, unsolved AI design problems: intuitive experiences for multi-agent workflows, interfaces that surface insights from massive datasets, and the trust signals required to let lawyers confidently delegate to AI. You'll work directly with our founders, customers, and a small group of strong engineers to define and ship the visual and interaction language of the product.
We've raised $60M at a $555M valuation because we've built something legal teams love to use (70+ NPS, which is unheard of in legal software). Now we need a designer who can help us extend that lead. You'll own the intersection of craft and user insight. Design systems, interaction patterns, prototypes, and user research, these are yours. As an early designer, you will set the foundation for building the practice of product design at a hyper-growth Series B startup.
GC AI is distributed, and engineering is our most distributed team. We hire engineers across the US and Canada. Wherever you're based, expect up to 10% travel for coworking sessions and team offsites across our hub cities.

GC AI is a distributed company with team members across North America, and soon Europe. We believe that because our business is AI, human connection matters more, not less. We invest in bringing people together through our hub model: regular coworking sessions, customer dinners, team and company offsites. If you’re in a location without an office, expect up to 10% travel (and more for customer-facing roles). Team members in the San Francisco Bay Area and Provo, UT (within 50 miles of the office) work together on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. As we grow, we plan to establish permanent offices in more hub cities , and we will look to our team members to help build that in-person culture.
