QA TesterFull-timeService Region: PhilippinesJob DescriptionJob Overview:We’re looking for a Manual QA to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of websites and web applications. This role involves creating and executing test cases, identifying and documenting bugs, and verifying that websites meet functional, visual, usability, and performance standards before deployment. You’ll conduct manual testing across WordPress, Shopify, and custom web applications, including responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, forms, e-commerce checkout flows, and third-party integrations. You’ll also collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers to resolve issues, maintain QA documentation, and ensure a smooth website launch.Responsibilities:Taking part in QA processes, reading and analysis of requirements, writing and implementation of test plans/cases, testing of websites/web applicationsEnsuring the overall quality of the sites delivered functional and non-functional testingWriting, reviewing, and updating document procedures to enable faster troubleshooting and resolutionConduct thorough testing of websites and web applications, including functional, usability, performance, security, and cross-browser testingIdentify, document, and track bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues, providing clear reports to developers and project managersVerify responsive design and mobile compatibility across multiple devices and screen sizesTest third-party integrations such as CRM, e-commerce platforms, email marketing tools, and analyticsEnsure SEO best practices and web accessibility (WCAG) complianceCollaborate with developers, designers, and project managers to improve website performance and resolve issuesConduct regression testing to ensure new updates do not introduce errorsMonitor and test website speed and performance, recommending optimizationsEnsure security compliance and check for vulnerabilities in web applicationsPerform manual functional, UI, cross-browser, and device testing using staging/local environments before deployments.Review design files (Figma, Adobe XD) against developed pages to verify visual accuracy and layout fidelity.Validate manual forms, lead captures, navigation flows, and e-commerce checkout processes end-to-end.Log, categorize, and track bugs with detailed steps to reproduce, screenshots, and video recordings in ClickUp.Inform the Team Lead and Project Manager of critical blockers or show-stopping issues prior to scheduled site launches.Create and maintain manual test checklists, test-case scenarios, and pre-launch QA sign-off documentation.QualificationsBachelor's Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related coursesHands-on experience conducting manual QA for custom WordPress themes, custom plugins, and Shopify stores.Experience using cross-browser and mobile device testing tools (e.g., BrowserStack, real mobile devices).Experience managing bug tickets, reporting issue statuses, and verifying fixes in ClickUp.Proven experience in web quality assurance testing for WordPress, Shopify, Web App etc.Familiarity with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, BrowserStack, Lighthouse, GTmetrix).Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how they affect website functionality.Experience in cross-browser and responsive design testing.Knowledge of SEO, web accessibility (WCAG standards), and security best practices.Experience in using bug tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.Ability to perform API testing (Postman, RESTful API testing is a plus).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills to provide clear, detailed reports.Must be adaptable, flexible and possess a sense of urgencyAbility to work independently as well as with a teamAmenable to work 9AM – 6PM, Mon - Fri; OnsiteBy clicking the link above or any third-party link within this posting, you are leaving this site and going to a third-party website where the third-party website's terms and privacy policy applyI'm interestedI'm interestedPrivacy NoticeImprint
