The role - your passion: You are passionate about fixing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance problems. A successful technician will have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated and well-versed in all maintenance and repairs.
- Love working with your hands? Enjoy diagnosing and solving problems? As a RV Technician you will work on everything that makes an RV a home on wheels—no engine work required!
- Your main task is to keep our vehicles on the road in terms of traffic safety and customer satisfaction
- You are quick, agile, and have a startup mindset
- You share responsibility for the technical condition of our campervans
- You independently perform minor repairs on our vehicles and pass on your knowledge to station employees so that they can carry out repairs themselves to some extent
- You actively participate in shaping your work environment, are enthusiastic about new projects, and contribute your ideas
- Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
- Have a passion for recreational vehicles and possess the solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various mechanical issues
- Knowledge in trade field (Automotive, HVAC, Electrical, Carpentry, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) and plus
- Certification from college or technical school in trade field or equivalent work experience a plus

- You have completed training as an automotive mechanic / automotive mechatronics technician or a similar program in the automotive industry.
- You possess extensive knowledge of various brands and vehicles, ideally familiar with our common models already.
- A high degree of flexibility, occasional willingness to travel, and manual dexterity are natural for you.
- Strong written/verbal communication skills; able to read, write and speak English to interact effectively with a global customer base.
- Must be able to lift up to 45+ pounds at times.
- Able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat/cold.
- Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors and cold/hot temperature extremes.
- Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing).
- Ability to perform cleaning duties within work area as needed including the use of cleaning chemicals.
- Due to auto insurance requirements, you must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid in state drivers license.
- Availability to travel as needed to our roadsurfer North American locations or vendor events.
- Must have open availability to support business needs including weekends and holidays.
