Veterinary Assistant / Kennel Technician

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide daily care, feeding, and cleaning for hospitalized and boarding pets
• Walk, exercise, and monitor patients for comfort and well-being
• Restrain patients safely for examinations and treatments
• Assist veterinarians and technicians during appointments and procedures
• Prepare exam rooms and medical supplies
• Help with patient treatments, medication administration, and diagnostic procedures
• Support client service and patient care throughout the hospital

Schedule and Compensation:

• Compensation:$13-$16 per hour, for each hour worked
• This is afull-timeposition, with availability neededMonday-Friday and rotating weekends.

Your Qualifications:

• 1+of experience as a veterinary kennel assistant / kennel technician preferred Will consider related experience within animal care such as boarding / doggy daycare attendant, FFA or 4H background

• A genuine passion for animal care and patient wellbeing
• Confidence working with dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments Ability to safely handle, restrain, walk, and monitor animals under supervisionStrong awareness of animal behavior and willingness to learn patient safety and handling techniques
