About the Opportunity

The Analyst, AI Enablement & Value Creation sits in the Transformation Office and works hand in hand with the Director, Value Creation & Integration and the Chief Transformation Officer. The role helps execute Machinify's AI enablement strategy across the back office: it launches new AI initiatives from a blank page, carries them through to department deployment, and tracks the value they realize. Where initiatives are already in flight elsewhere in the company, you bring the same structure to them. A year ago our AI enablement program was an idea. Today it has an approved AI roadmap, a weekly steering committee, 24 AI champions across departments, department-specific skills, vendor-led training, and automations running in production. The next phase is scale: more departments, more vendors, more automation, and, above all, value that shows up in the P&L. That last part needs a measurement system the program does not have yet: adoption, utilization, and impact by department, on a dashboard the steering committee reviews weekly and the Executive Leadership Team reads monthly. This role exists to help deliver this next phase.

This role demands three things at once. The first is hands-on technical fluency: building skills, MCP integrations, agents, and automated workflows across Claude Code, Claude Cowork, ChatGPT, Codex, and the wider AI tool suite, and mapping the processes they change. The second is project leadership: standing up each initiative yourself, from the first scoping conversation and charter through vendor selection, kickoff, delivery, and handoff, coordinating across departments and outside vendors, escalating by exception, and carrying feedback back into the program. The third is measurement: defining what success looks like before the work starts, building the dashboards and measurement systems that track it, and tying each initiative to a result Finance will recognize, so every initiative you run closes on a number. You operate with real autonomy and are accountable for results. The Director owns strategy, department priorities, and governance, signs off on charters and vendor commitments, clears blockers, and steps in wherever the work needs it. You run the work day to day.

Why This Role

  • Daily use of the full AI tool stack at a company whose product is AI, with a mandate to show the rest of the business how to work.
  • Ownership of initiatives from the first conversation through live deployment and the measured result, with department leaders depending on what you ship.
  • Direct exposure to the Chief Transformation Officer and the Executive Leadership Team, a path to Senior Analyst on demonstrated results, and a route into integration work as acquisition activity grows.

What You Will Do

Value Realization and Reporting

  • Define the AI enablement success metrics across adoption, utilization, and impact, and build and own the dashboards and measurement systems behind them, including a monthly productivity survey correlated with utilization data so self-reported gains are checked against actual use.
  • Tie each initiative to a measurable outcome, hours returned, cycle time cut, cost avoided, or revenue protected, and track AI spend by initiative and department against it.
  • Move initiatives through the value capture lifecycle, Pipeline to Identified to Committed to Realized to Banked-in-P&L, with evidence at each stage. Finance owns the numbers; you build the measurement, the analysis, and the narrative around them.
  • Produce the AI Enablement section of monthly Executive Leadership Team material and support Board material in peak cycles.

Department Deployments and Adoption

  • Map the current-state process in each department, identify the steps AI can remove or compress, and translate that into a skill checklist and deployment plan with named owners and dates.
  • Run department deployments end to end: setup sessions, office hours, training, and adoption tracking against the baseline.
  • Own the AI training materials, the skills library, and other assets so onboarding to Machinify tools is self-service and stays current as tools change.
  • Deploy solutions through a mix of Claude tooling, third-party AI applications, and non-AI vendor platforms. Own the vendor relationship on each initiative from scoping and proof of concept through contracting support, rollout, and results tracking.

Project Leadership and Program Operations

  • Launch AI enablement initiatives from the very beginning: identify the opportunity with the department, write the charter and success criteria, define scope, build the plan, and run the kickoff. Then stay the accountable owner: run the cadence, maintain the RAID log, and drive open items to closure without being asked twice.
  • Coordinate across Finance, Ops, Client Success, Legal, Sales, Implementations, and other back-office functions, and across outside vendors and partners, to secure the inputs, decisions, and time the work needs. Escalate to the Director by exception, with the issue, the options, and your recommendation already framed.
  • Organize the program's portfolio so every initiative has a charter, an owner, a stage, and a next milestone. Collect feedback from department teams and bring it back into the program as prioritized change requests, not anecdotes.
  • Serve as a standing member of the weekly AI Enablement steering committee and prepare it with the Director for the Chief Transformation Officer: agenda, metrics, decisions needed, and follow-ups, with status reported as it is.

AI Tooling and Solution Design

  • Build the tooling each initiative calls for: Cowork folder structures, Claude skills, Claude Code utilities, MCP connections, and automated workflows, documented so they survive handoff.
  • Build agents where a process needs one, in Claude or in the agent builders inside platforms we deploy, such as Within, connected to the systems the department already uses.
  • Own the solution recommendation for each department need: training, a Claude skill, an internal build, or a third-party tool, and evaluate the vendors behind the tool options with the trade-offs stated.
  • Verify AI-assisted output before it reaches a department or an executive. Speed does not excuse an unsourced number.

What Success Looks Like

  • In the first 90 days, you know how Machinify's AI systems and the AI enablement program work: the tool stack, the roadmap, the steering committee cadence, and the initiatives in flight. You have met the department leaders you will deploy with, completed a current-state process map for at least one department, brought your first initiative to the steering committee as a charter with scope, success criteria, and a recommended delivery path, and proposed the program's adoption, utilization, and impact metrics.
  • By six months, you have launched and run at least two department deployments end to end, from initial scoping through live use with measured adoption, including at least one delivered with an outside vendor. The AI enablement dashboard is live and reviewed at steering each week, the training materials and skills library are current and self-service, and department leaders route AI enablement requests to you by default.
  • By twelve months, you have launched and delivered deployments across multiple departments on the dates you committed to, including solutions delivered with outside vendors. Every initiative in the portfolio carries a charter, an owner, a value-capture stage, and evidence behind it, and realized value is reported in Executive Leadership Team material from the dashboard you built, with Finance-confirmed numbers.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has shipped real tooling with Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or comparable agentic platforms, and can demo it, explain the design choices, and describe what it changed in cycle time or quality.
  • Understands how the pieces fit: skills, MCP, context and tool design, agent orchestration, and the limits of each. Picks up a new tool in days because the fundamentals transfer.
  • Thinks in processes. Sits with a team, maps how work actually flows, and spots where automation belongs and where it does not.
  • Starts projects. Takes a loosely defined opportunity, scopes it, organizes the people and vendors around it, runs the kickoff, then manages it with a clear plan, named owners, dates that hold, and risks flagged early.
  • Works autonomously and influences without formal authority. Gets busy department leaders to engage, and arrives at the Director's door with options and a recommendation.
  • Measures before building. Defines success criteria up front, tracks against them, and reports the number as it is, with its source, including when it disappoints.
  • Writes conclusion first, explains a technical build to a non-technical audience without losing the substance, and takes fast edits well.

Skills and Qualifications

Required

  • Two to four years of professional experience in analytics, consulting, operations, product, or an engineering-adjacent role, including a project with multiple contributors that you took from inception to delivery.
  • Project management capability across the full lifecycle: initiating and scoping new work, planning, coordinating teams and vendors, escalating issues, and executing against the plan, with examples you can walk through.
  • Hands-on, current fluency with Claude Code, Claude Cowork, and Claude Chat, with working exposure to OpenAI Codex, Google Antigravity, and other AI tools. You must be able to demo something real you built.
  • Working understanding of how skills work, how MCP connects models to systems, and how agentic frameworks orchestrate multi-step work.
  • Process mapping experience: documenting current state, identifying automation candidates, and designing the future state.
  • Analytical ability: can define a success metric, pull the data behind it, and present the result to a department leader.
  • Working knowledge of at least one scripting language, Python or JavaScript preferred.
  • Clear written communication: can brief an executive in a paragraph and train a department in an hour.
  • Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated AI build experience.
  • Ability to work on-site in our Dallas, TX office.

Preferred

  • Experience managing third-party vendors or implementation partners through a software or automation rollout.
  • Experience defining KPIs and building dashboards in Power BI, Excel, or a similar tool.
  • Experience creating training content or running enablement sessions for non-technical teams.
  • Healthcare, payment integrity, or revenue cycle exposure.
  • Private equity-backed company experience, or exposure to post-acquisition integration and value creation work.
  • Experience with Notion, Slack, Jira, Salesforce, or Smartsheet, including building integrations or automations on them.
