Let’s fuse creativity with technology together and build innovative solutions that actively change things for the better.Job DescriptionWe are looking for aBig Data Platform Administratorto operate and maintain large-scale Hadoop-based data lake environments for a leading financial services organization.Responsibilities:Operate, monitor, and supportHadoop-based data lake platforms;Provideincident response, deep troubleshooting, and performance tuning across big data components;Ensuredata integrity, replication, capacity management, and resource allocation within HDFS clusters;Develop, maintain, and automatemonitoring and alertingfor platform services and node health;Support onboarding of new workloads in collaboration with platform and data teams;Applypatches, upgrades, and configuration changesto maintain cluster stability and security;Manage authentication, authorization, and encryption:Kerberos, Ranger/Sentry, TLS;Work closely with storage, network, and security teams to optimize throughput, access controls, and backup strategies;Maintain platform documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing.QualificationsMinimum5 years of experiencein Big Data / Hadoop platform administration;Bachelor’s degree inComputer Scienceor equivalent;Strong knowledge ofHadoop, Cloudera, YARN, Kafka;Solid expertise inLinux, JVM tuning, system-level troubleshooting, and distributed environments;Experience withPostgreSQL / SQLdatabases;Automation skills usingAnsible, Python, Java;Strong background inKerberos, cryptography, and access control policies;Understanding ofmicroservices architecturesandon-premise deployments;Fluency inEnglish(mandatory);Experience in banking or regulated environments is a plus.Additional InformationDevoteam Group works for equal opportunities, promoting its employees based on merit and actively fights against all forms of discrimination.
