We have an amazing team of 25,200 people in 32 countries.Job DescriptionThe Cloud SRE would meaningfully contribute to project delivery with hands on experience in managing enterprise cloud platform. You will work closely to design and build automated operational processes focusing on scalable cloud deployments with paradigm of infrastructure as a code.You will be a critical member of the region wide cloud engineering team working to build and support multi-cloud automated platform (IaaS). Also working collaboratively with the global cloud teams to leverage standards, best practices and foster full stack operations.You will bring a strong background in automated software engineering in cloud operations with strong emphasis on scripting, automated software engineering practices and supporting an enterprise level cloud platform.You will report to the Cloud Technology Lead.What You'll Be Doing:Standardize, automate the provisioning, and support aspects as reusable cloud services and interfacesDevelop infrastructure as code on AWS / Azure / GCP using best practices and implementations for non-production and production environmentsImplement automated configuration and deployment process towards improving functionality, availability, and manageability of our enterprise cloud offeringsDefine, track and report service level indicators (SLIs) and objectives (SLOs), and use error budgets to balance reliability with delivery speedParticipate in the on-call rotation to respond to, triage and resolve incidents, and contribute to blameless post-incident reviews and follow-up actionsReduce toil by identifying repetitive manual operational tasks and automating themBuild and maintain monitoring, alerting and observability (metrics, logs, traces and dashboards) for cloud servicesContribute to capacity planning and performance tuning of cloud services, also - create and maintain runbooks and operational documentationQualificationsWhat we're looking for:2+ years of experience writing Cloud Formation Templates (CFT), Azure RM Templates or equivalent GCP templates to build cloud services as code (IaC) and strong scripting experience with the AWS/Azure/GCP SDK or CLIExpertise in scripting using PowerShell and Python, with JSON/YAML used for templates and configurationUnderstanding of SRE principles, including service level indicators (SLIs), service level objectives (SLOs), error budgets, incident management and blameless post-mortems1+ years of experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana or equivalent)Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test and deployment and working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) core compute, storage, networking and IAM servicesKnowledge about APIs and Working knowledge of SQL, NoSQL and managed databases such as MySQL and AWS RDSWillingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to production incidentsAdditional InformationOur uniqueness is that we celebrate yours.
