Perform Linux kernel configuration, customization, and optimization for target hardware platforms.Develop and maintain Linux device drivers for peripherals and hardware interfaces.Support board bring-up activities and hardware-software integration on new product platformsConfigure and customize Linux distributions using Yocto, Buildroot, or similar build frameworksAnalyze and optimize system startup time, memory footprint, and overall platform performanceDebug complex system-level issues involving kernel, drivers, middleware, and hardware interactionsCollaborate with hardware teams during processor selection, schematic reviews, and platform design phasesWork closely with customers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to define platform requirements and solution roadmapsExpected skill set: Strong programming expertise in Embedded C/C++ and system-level software developmentExtensive hands-on experience in Embedded Linux BSP Development for microprocessor-based platformsStrong knowledge of Linux Kernel Architecture, Device Tree, Kernel Configuration, and System InitializationExpertise in Linux Device Driver Development for peripheral and custom hardware interfacesExperience with microprocessor platforms such as (NXP, STM32, TI, etc) Strong experience with bootloaders such as U-Boot and Linux startup sequence customizationHands-on experience with Yocto Project, Buildroot, or Linux distribution generation frameworksStrong understanding of Linux networking, file systems, memory management, and process schedulingExperience with debugging tools such as GDB, JTAG, Lauterbach, Trace32 & Logic AnalyzerGood to Have skills: Experience with Real-Time Linux and PREEMPT_RT kernel configurationsKnowledge of Hypervisors and Virtualization technologies such as Xen or JailhouseExperience with Secure Boot, Trusted Platform Modules (TPM), and Linux Security FrameworksExposure to Zephyr RTOS, Free RTOS, or other RTOS environments alongside Linux systemsExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized embedded applicationsExperience with performance profiling, boot-time optimization, and system resource monitoring Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and embedded security conceptsQualificationsBE/ME Electronics backgroundAdditional Information8-15 yrsBy clicking the link above or any third-party link within this posting, you are leaving this site and going to a third-party website where the third-party website's terms and privacy policy applyI'm interestedI'm interestedPrivacy NoticeImprint
