You will have a background in Java, microservices, serverless architecture, Docker, EKS and search technologies such as Solr or open search.You will suit someone who has resolved high-priority search incidents in production and can work across a distributed, multi-group search estate. Daily operations demand distributed search systems knowledge, hands-on comfort with that stack is necessary .What you'll do:Lead a team of engineers, supporting professional growth and providing technical guidance.Collaborate with partners to understand data and our requirements, delivering technical solutions.Design scalable software solutions using Java, microservices, Docker, EKS, Solr/OpenSearch, and AWS technologies.Ensure high-quality software delivery through best practices in coding, testing, deployment, unit testing, and test automation.Create project success by contributing hands-on during sprints, resolving complex technical issues, managing risks and impediments, and encouraging innovation through latest technologies.Experience and Skills:Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.10 Years of total experience and 5+ years of experience in java, microservices, python, SQL and NoSQL database technologiesAt least 4 years of experience managing peopleImprove AI adoption to improve engineering productivity, software quality, and operational efficiency.Experience in search technologies such as Solr or Open SearchExpertise of AWS Services like EC2, EKS and Lambda.Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.Ability to collaborate with partners at all levels.QualificationsCertification in cloud platforms.Experience building AI-enabled solutions.Additional InformationOur uniqueness is that we truly celebrate yours.
