AFRY supports a flexible hybrid work model.To ensure continuity and further development of AFRY’s engineering tool platform, your key responsibilities will include:Collaboration in cross-functional teams including developers, architects, QA, infrastructure, and data/AI specialistsPrepare and manage technical and functional requirements and documentationParticipating in backlog management, prioritization, risk management, and transparent reporting through Azure DevOpsCollaborate with IT and security teams to ensure compliant and secure solution deliveryPromote modern engineering practices including Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and AI-assisted ways of working (like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code)Identify opportunities and contribute to improving efficiency, scalability, innovation, and collaboration across the engineering tools landscapeQualificationsTo succeed in this role, you should have experience with:Proven experience in a broad range of software development modalities in cross-functional and international environmentsStrong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile delivery methodologiesSolid technical background enabling effective communication with engineering and IT teamsExperience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft AzureUnderstanding of system integrations, APIs, enterprise applications, and application architectureExperience with Azure DevOps/Jira, GitLab, CI/CD, and modern development practicesFamiliarity with AI/LLM-driven development approaches and modern collaboration toolsUnderstanding of plant engineering tools, workflows, and digital engineering environmentsStrong communication and problem-solving skills and a consultive mindsetWe are not looking only for candidates who are limited to a single framework or programming language.
