Join us.Job DescriptionWe're looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Field Engineer – Lighting and AV to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lighting and audio-visual systems for various projects and events. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in fast-paced environments.Install, configure, and test lighting systems including LED fixtures, conventional lighting, and moving light equipmentSet up and integrate audio-visual systems including projection, audio equipment, and control systemsPerform on-site troubleshooting and technical support to resolve system issues efficientlyConduct routine maintenance and inspections of lighting and AV equipment to ensure optimal performanceCoordinate with project managers, clients, and vendors to understand technical requirements and deliver solutionsEnsure all installations comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and local requirementsDocument system configurations, technical specifications, and maintenance activitiesAssist in the planning and execution of complex lighting and AV installations for events, venues, and corporate environmentsTravel to various project sites as needed to support installations and provide technical supportMaintain organized inventory records and equipment logsQualifications10 years of professional experience in field engineering, lighting installation, or audio-visual systemsProficiency with lighting design and installation techniquesStrong knowledge of AV systems including projection, audio equipment, and control platformsExperience with rigging, mounting, and installation of equipmentSolid understanding of electrical safety protocols and industry compliance standardsExcellent troubleshooting and analytical skillsAbility to read technical drawings and specificationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in equipment maintenance and repairAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to travel and work on-site at various locationsPreferred: Project management experiencePreferred: Experience with multiple AV platforms and control systemsPreferred: Knowledge of live event production or venue managementPreferred: Experience with documentation and technical reporting systemsAdditional InformationAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.To support this commitment, all newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.About AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
