Then you could be our new IT Operations Student.You become the face of IT in our Delft headquarters. You are on site during our IT front-desk hours, so colleagues know when and where to find you. From "my laptop won't start" to "the screen in this meeting room doesn't work", you are first-line support for your TOPdesk colleagues, in Delft and in our offices abroad.What you will doStaff the Delft IT front desk during the set walk-in hours and help colleagues on the spotRegister, analyse and resolve hardware and software incidents in TOPdeskPrepare laptops, accounts and access for new colleagues, and handle returns for leaversSet up and look after workstations, monitors, docking stations and meeting-room presentation equipmentProcess software and licence requests and keep mailing lists up to dateKeep the IT asset inventory accuratePoint colleagues to self-service and remote support, so the front desk is not the only way to get helpWrite and update knowledge base articles when you solve something newHelp us try out and improve the AI tools and automations we use in IT supportWhere you will workYou join the IT Operations team at our headquarters in Delft. The team is international and supports colleagues across all TOPdesk offices. Its main job is excellent service to colleagues, and there is plenty of room for new ideas: you get the freedom to take initiative and shape your own plans. IT Operations works closely with the other IT teams and with Facility Management, so the office runs smoothly for everyone.QualificationsYou are enrolled at a university or university of applied sciences (HBO/WO), preferably in IT or a related field, for the full duration of the contractA real interest in IT and in how things workYou use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Microsoft Copilot with curiosity and a critical eye, and you check their answers before you rely on themA proactive, solution-oriented attitude and you enjoy fixing problemsA team player who can also work independentlyGood spoken and written Dutch and EnglishNice to have: basic Windows and macOS troubleshooting, and some experience with Microsoft 365.
