Join us.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Landscape Engineer (Construction Supervision) to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will oversee landscape construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. You will serve as a key liaison between design teams, contractors, and clients, making critical decisions on-site to maintain project integrity and client satisfaction in the dynamic Abu Dhabi construction environment.Supervise and coordinate all landscape construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, and local UAE building codes and regulationsConduct regular site inspections and quality assessments to verify that work meets design standards and contractual requirementsManage project schedules, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project delivery and on-time completionAnalyze site conditions, identify potential challenges, and develop practical solutions to address construction obstacles and design modificationsCommunicate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, design teams, and clients to provide project updates and resolve issues promptlyMonitor and control project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising qualityMaintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily reports, inspection records, change orders, and as-built drawingsLead and mentor on-site teams, providing clear direction and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and environmental standardsCoordinate with relevant authorities and ensure all landscape installations comply with local environmental and sustainability requirementsEvaluate material quality and specifications upon delivery, ensuring all landscape materials meet project requirementsPrepare progress reports and presentations for project stakeholders and managementQualificationsProven experience in landscape construction supervision and site management (minimum 7+ years)Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, materials, and construction methodologiesProficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and Civil 3DDemonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslySolid understanding of landscape specifications, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation techniquesKnowledge of UAE building codes, regulations, and local environmental standardsKnowledge of environmental sustainability practices and green building standardsExperience working on landscape projects in the Middle East or GCC region (preferred)Additional InformationAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.To support this commitment, all newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.About AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
