In this leadership role, you will oversee the mechanical design aspects of airport infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and Saudi Building Code requirements. You will lead a team of mechanical engineers and designers, driving innovation and excellence in MEP system design while managing complex coordination across multiple disciplines.Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers and design professionals on airport and aviation facility projectsDevelop comprehensive mechanical design solutions for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and related systems in airport environmentsManage the mechanical design phase from concept through construction documentationCoordinate with architects, electrical engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless system integration and clash-free designsUtilize BIM and advanced design software to create detailed mechanical models and construction documentsEnsure all designs comply with Saudi Building Code, international standards, and airport-specific requirementsConduct design reviews and quality assurance checks to maintain high standards of accuracy and completenessPrepare technical specifications, calculations, and design reports for airport projectsCollaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to address design challenges and implement solutionsMonitor project timelines and budgets while maintaining design excellenceStay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in MEP designQualificationsMinimum 10 years of professional experience in MEP mechanical designPreferred direct experience on airport, aviation, or large-scale infrastructure projectsAdvanced proficiency in MEP design software including AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC design toolsComprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building automationProven leadership experience managing engineering teams and coordinating multidisciplinary projectsStrong understanding of Saudi Building Code and international design standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.)Expertise in BIM modeling and coordinationExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholdersExperience with design coordination software and clash detection toolsProject management experience and organizational skillsFamiliarity with airport-specific mechanical requirements and operational constraintsProfessional certification in mechanical engineering or related field (preferred)Airport / AviationBy clicking the link above or any third-party link within this posting, you are leaving this site and going to a third-party website where the third-party website's terms and privacy policy applyI'm interestedI'm interestedPrivacy Notice
