We are looking for a reliable, organized individual who is comfortable with physical work and customer service.Key responsibilities :Open and close daily operations, including cash handling and report preparation;Unload, inspect, sort, and classify non-ferrous metals;Inform customers of prices and process cash transactions;Enter data into the system and prepare scale tickets and delivery slips;Organize materials and prepare incoming and outgoing shipments;Maintain a clean and safe work environment;Perform other related duties as required.QualificationsTo join our team :You are comfortable providing customer service and handling cash;You are comfortable with manual work and are in good physical condition;You are reliable, punctual, and committed to health and safety;You are organized and comfortable with data entry;You have experience operating a forklift or other equipment (an asset);You have experience in an industrial or recycling environment (an asset);You have knowledge of different types of metals (an asset).Additional InformationAmerican Iron and Metal (AIM)and its subsidiariesare equal opportunity employers.
