The Graduate trainee will be based in the Off Premise sales team and will conduct rotations in Trade Marketing. This will be a formative role whereby the individual will be coachedon trade & sales aspects. The individual will be exposed to various sources of data, brand & trade marketing, category management and customer facing engagements.Job DescriptionTrade MarketingThe primary purpose is to help support and deliver Off-Premise Trade Marketing projects across the channels, with a focus on Trade & Customer marketing, including how we bring brand and category to life in store.Support campaign and temporary POS from brief through production, deployment and tracking, working with agencies and the field sales team.Assist with permanent and category units and cooler asset management, including data accuracy and verification.Support the development of new, innovative and impactful point-of-sale tools and materials, and help with campaign briefs.Category ManagementThe primary purpose is to develop deep energy category and shopper understanding, and use it to help grow the category with our retail and gas partners.Analyse multiple data sources (sales, shopper, market demographics, cooler data) to build category and shopper insight.Support planogram development and category solutions across partners.Help build insight one-pagers that support the National Key Account teams to sell in shelf space, new listings, disruptive displays and additional cooler placements.InsightsThe primary purpose is to build strong data and insight foundations, supporting the Off-Premise team with reporting, dashboards and shopper understanding.Support master data management, data quality and integration across platforms, and help build and refresh internal dashboards.Assist in distilling shopper and category insight into actions for Key Account Managers and the broader team.QualificationsFluency in English (verbal & written)Working on own initiative, “hands on” mentalityAny entrepreneurial experienceRetailer/sales experience desirable (but not a must)Excel/PPT literateCommunications and listening,interpersonal skills (direct customer contact)Strong analytical ability and commercial acumen to understand financial statements and market trends      Commercial or marketing degree, or a related qualification (recent graduate)Management reporting and budget controlStrong presentation skills supported by concept sell techniquesAble to work independently at times with responsibility, being organized, result driven and solution orientatedand able to take instruction (Open to coaching)Commercial awareness desirableAdditional InformationThis job description is not exhaustive of the potential duties that the successful applicant will be required to perform, and is provided solely to assist potential job applicants in determining their suitability for the role and to apply for the job.
