Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Factory Systems builds and runs the technology that keeps Anduril's factories producing, including the devices, networks, and systems on the floor and the people who use them. Our footprint is growing quickly, and the team is building the operational foundation to support that growth.
We are looking for an OT Support Operator to be our boots on the ground. You will provide hands-on support to the people who build things, answering tickets, fixing broken hardware, and deploying new devices. You will also keep the hardware itself moving, from procurement through receiving, stocking, and shipping. This role is ideal for someone who likes fixing things, likes getting things where they need to go, and takes ownership without waiting to be told what's next.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Work the support queue in Jira: triage, resolve, and close tickets within response and resolution targets
- Diagnose and repair broken hardware (workstations, scanners, printers, and peripherals), or coordinate vendor RMAs when repair isn't practical
- Image, configure, and deploy new devices to users and production floor stations, and confirm they work before handoff
- Support factory floor users in person, including on-site troubleshooting and device swaps
- Handle account, access, and software requests within your permissions, and escalate to Systems Administrators when a request is outside your scope
- Execute procurement for defined hardware needs: create purchase requests, place and track orders, follow up with vendors, and keep stakeholders informed on delivery status
- Receive shipments at the dock, verify that what arrived matches what was ordered, and record receipts and discrepancies
- Stock, stage, and organize inventory so the right hardware is findable and ready to deploy, tracking it in our asset management and ticketing systems
- Run reverse logistics and sustainment: swaps, refreshes, RMAs, vendor returns, and end-of-life retirement, with records closed out at every step
- Perform regular inventory counts and flag shortages before they stall a deployment or a build
- Keep asset records accurate as devices are repaired, reassigned, shipped, or retired
- Document fixes and recurring issues, and flag patterns to the team so root causes get addressed rather than ticketed repeatedly
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, desktop support, or a hands-on IT operations role (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with an asset management or ERP system or with asset management tools
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing laptops, desktops, and common peripherals
- Experience with a ticketing system such as Jira Service Management
- Comfort with physical work, including receiving and moving shipments and working on a warehouse or factory floor [DO WE NEED A LIFTING REQUIREMENT HERE???]
- Strong organization and follow-through: you close loops, keep accurate records, and notice when numbers don't match
- Clear written and verbal communication, with the patience to support users of varying technical comfort
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment with competing priorities and to take ownership of your work
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory management, or purchasing in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics setting
- Experience with barcode scanners, label printers, or other industrial and OT devices
- Familiarity with Active Directory/Entra ID, Okta, or similar identity management tools
- Experience in a manufacturing, defense, or other regulated hardware environment
