Principal System EngineerFull-timeEmployment Type: Regular (PERM)Remote Work Available: NoJob DescriptionSystems (80% - 90% is the range of the job responsibility):- Leverage strong technical knowledge of our existing high-side switches portfolio, deep understanding of the technologies, standards and protocols within an industry or end equipment, and an ability to engage with customers and translate their requirements into technical specifications that will solve their problems- Competitive benchmarking and tracking latest research in the vehicle power distrbution domain- Interface and lead discussions with the customer and TI field teams to understand customer designs, problems and support as required- Balancing innovation with execution - to ensure that the IPs are demonstrated in silicon in a timely mannerSafety (10% - 20% is the range of the job responsibility):- Deriving, defining, and verifying safety requirements from higher-level system requirements.- Contributing to the definition of chip-level safety architecture in line with ISO 26262.- Performing and reviewing safety analyses such as DFMEA, DFA, FMEDA and FTAQualificationsMust-have:1. Bachelors or higher in Electrical Engineering2. 5+ years of relevant industry experience3. Deep understanding of commonly used analog circuits and blocks in power product4. Deep understanding of electro thermal analysis5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment6. Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions7. Ability to take the initiative and drive for results8.
