Join us.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager - Infrastructure to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and execute infrastructure projects from conception through completion, ensuring exceptional delivery standards, adherence to timelines and budgets, and outstanding client satisfaction. You will be instrumental in driving project success through strategic planning, proactive risk management, and collaborative team leadership. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on significant infrastructure initiatives while fostering innovation and operational excellence.Manage and execute infrastructure projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, scope adherence, and budget complianceDevelop comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies; monitor progress and implement corrective actions as neededServe as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns promptly, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring consistent satisfactionCommunicate project updates, milestones, and changes to stakeholders in a clear and timely mannerIdentify potential risks and uncertainties; develop and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project stability and successSupervise and mentor project teams, providing guidance and support while fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environmentCoordinate with cross-functional teams and design partners to ensure cohesive project execution and quality deliverablesOversee design coordination processes, ensuring design outputs meet project requirements, industry standards, and client expectationsDevelop and implement project management best practices and standard operating procedures to drive operational efficiencyConduct regular project reviews and post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and opportunities for continuous improvementAnalyze project performance using appropriate tools and techniques; prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholdersEnsure compliance with local UAE construction regulations, standards, and contractual obligationsQualificationsExperience:Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in infrastructure project managementProven track record of successfully managing medium-scale infrastructure projects from initiation to completionDemonstrated experience in coordinating design processes and managing design teams within infrastructure projectsExperience managing projects in the UAE or Middle Eastern region is highly desirableStrong background in budget management, schedule optimization, and resource planningSkills and Competencies:Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms)Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholdersStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approachComprehensive understanding of construction contracts, risk management frameworks, and claims avoidance strategiesProficiency in time management and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectivelyAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis toolsKnowledge of local UAE and Dubai construction regulations, standards, and compliance requirementsCertifications and Domain Expertise:Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent (required)PRINCE2 certification or similar project management methodology certification (preferred)Domain expertise in infrastructure development, civil engineering projects, or related disciplinesFamiliarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and digital project management tools (preferred)Additional InformationAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.To support this commitment, all newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.About AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
