Senior Installation EngineerFull-timeCompany DescriptionJoin IOTA Group, a leading international company specializing in technical assistance and engineering solutions for theEnergy, Oil & Gas, and Offshore industries.We are currently seeking an experiencedSenior Installation Engineerto join our team and contribute to major internationalsubsea and offshore installation projectson behalf of one of our global industry partners.This opportunity is available inParis, France, or Lisbon, Portugal, offering the chance to work on challenging offshore projects within a dynamic, multicultural engineering environment.Job DescriptionAs aSenior Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and coordinatingInstallation & Construction (I&C) engineering activitiesacross offshore and subsea projects, ensuring technical compliance, operational readiness, and efficient execution.Key Responsibilities:Lead and coordinateInstallation & Construction engineering activitiesacross project packages, tenders, and engineering studies.Act as thekey technical interfacebetween engineering teams, project management, clients, and offshore operations.Review theinstallability of subsea equipment, tooling, and products, including third-party solutions.Coordinate engineering activities related toUmbilical Installation, Flexible Lay, and Lifting Operations.Manage engineering deliverables, technical documentation, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.Conductconstructability reviews, risk assessments, and operational readiness reviews.Participate inDesign Reviews and HAZID workshops, ensuring installation requirements are addressed during project development.Identify, assess, and mitigate installation risks while managing technical changes.Support offshore operations, includingvessel mobilisation and offshore installation campaigns.Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to develop technical specifications and evaluate installation equipment.Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and engineering standards.Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned, innovative installation methodologies, and industry best practices.QualificationsEducation & Experience:Master's degree or equivalentin a relevant engineering discipline.Minimum 6–8 years of professional experiencein the offshore/subsea installation industry.Strong technical expertise inSubsea Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines (SURF)and offshore vessel operations.Proven engineering experience inUmbilical Installation, Flexible Lay, and Lifting Operations.Experience in offshore installation engineering, construction methodologies, and equipment installability.Demonstrated expertise inrisk assessments, risk mitigation, and management of change.Ability to coordinate and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams.Experience supporting offshore installation projects, from engineering preparation to execution.Technical & Soft Skills:Strong understanding ofsubsea installation methodologies and offshore construction operations.Ability to manage technical interfaces across multiple engineering disciplines.Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.Familiarity withHAZID, constructability assessments, and readiness reviews.Proficiency inMicrosoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Fluent English, both written and spoken.Portuguese is an advantage.Additional InformationPosition:Senior Installation EngineerLocation:Paris, France or Lisbon, PortugalIndustry:Oil & Gas / Offshore / Subsea / SURFStarting Date:Immediate / As soon as possibleDuration:Minimum 9 monthsMobility:Occasional business trips and site assignments depending on project requirementsOffshore Exposure:Participation in vessel mobilisation and offshore installation campaignsCertification:Valid BOSIET certification required for offshore campaignsLanguages:English mandatory; Portuguese is a plusBy clicking the link above or any third-party link within this posting, you are leaving this site and going to a third-party website where the third-party website's terms and privacy policy applyI'm interestedI'm interestedPrivacy NoticeImprint
