Senior Product Engineer (f/m/d)Full-timeEmployment Type: Regular (PERM)Remote Work Available: NoJob DescriptionFull PE product lifecycle ownership from concept to mass production, with a focus on ensuring the delivery of the highest quality products to our end customersEnsure all PE deliverables are achieved on time and in accordance with the Product Development PlanCross-functional collaboration with Design, Apps, Test, Quality, Project Management, and OperationsDefinition of ATE characterization plan, device risk assessment, ramp readiness and mass production release for new productsSupport the definition of the ATE test plan including test coverage reviewsCorrelation of new test programs and test hardwareOwnership of characterization report generation by working with cross functional teamsOwnership of defining the mass production test limits and spec compliance through the limit guard banding process and outlier screening reviewStatistical limit definition and lot disposition optimizations to ensure quality without excessive wasteCustomer-facing technical support for high-volume consumer productsSupport continuous improvement of commercial output by optimizing production yield and throughput, including excursion containment support for both suppliers and customersContinuously help to improve data analysis tools and methodologiesTechnical leadership and mentoring for Graduate/ Product EngineersQualificationsUniversity degree with technical studies (Electronics, Physics, Chemistry, Mechatronic)Min 5-8 years experience in IC manufacturing and developmentProduct Engineering, Test Engineering, wafer process, quality, applications or design backgroundAbility to drive cross functional teams to achieve PE milestones (including global teams)Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skillsExcellent critical thinking skills to systematically troubleshoot a variety of issues in combination with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environmentHigh degree of flexibility in managing periods of demanding workloadFamiliar with continuous improvement and yield improvement methodologiesFamiliar with statistics, common data analysis techniques and comfortable handling large volumes of dataKnowledge of common failure analysis techniques is a plusKnowledge of ATE test development and methodology is a plusKnowledge of bench characterization techniques is a plusKnowledge of Data Analysis Tools (i.e. TIBCO Spotfire) and DOE methodologies is a plusKnowledge of PLM tools (i.e. Agile) and methodologies is a plusAdditional InformationRenesas is an embedded semiconductor solution provider driven by its Purpose,To Make Our Lives Easier.
