We are proud to be an outlet for opportunity and for personal growth and success.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Sr. Merchandiser, Men’s Tops & Layers to lead the development and execution of the men’s tops & layers assortment. This individual will be responsible for bringing the brand’s product strategy to life while identifying new growth opportunities across the category. The role will help define the architecture of the men’s tops/layers line and lead the development of category-level growth plans. Working in close partnership with Design, Planning, Marketing, and channel leaders, this person will support the brand’s strategic initiatives and long-term growth goals. To be successful, the ideal candidate must be an experienced product and people leader with a passion for the performance apparel space, Vuori’s mission, and embodying the brand’s values.What you'll get to do:Develop comprehensive assortment strategies across E-commerce and Retail, identifying new product opportunities to deliver on high-growth expectations.Maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape and impart key insights into line developmentBuild seasonal & annual line plans for men’s tops/layersSupport in the creation of the tops/layers 3-year innovation roadmap, guiding long-range fabric & style expansionPartner with the planning team on seasonal investment strategy. Provide guidance on style-level investment strategy for the tops/layers categoryCreate and manage all seasonal assortment tools for the men’s tops/layersSupport the buying and development product calendar for all channelsParticipate in weekly fittings, ultimately responsible for style adoption and executionPartner with planning on in-season product performance and build data-driven action plan based on resultsUphold brand price positioning and manage the pricing strategy for men’s tops/layersBuild seasonal product messaging plan to support marketing, communicating key seasonal product storiesBuild seasonal product knowledge info for stores and websiteAct as cross-departmental liaison, creating a consistent flow of communication throughout the organizationQualificationsWho you are:7+ years merchandising experienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience preferredperformance apparel experience preferredbackground in men’s apparel preferredexperience delivering high growth at the brand or category levelstrong understanding of men’s apparel market and trendsstrong eye for relevant and trend-right product that aligns with the brand aestheticability to travel domesticallystrong communication skillsexperience using Excel, Adobe Illustrator.
