Supplier Quality Management & LiaisonAct as the primary quality interface between suppliers and Renesas, ensuring alignment with quality requirements, business objectives, and customer expectations.2. Quality Excursion Management & Corrective ActionsLead investigations of quality excursions across internal operations, suppliers, and customers using structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D), and drive effective containment, corrective actions, and preventive actions to closure.3. Supplier Audit, Certification & Change ControlPlan and execute supplier audit programs, lead supplier certification activities, and ensure effective management of process, material, and site changes.4. Supplier Assessment, Qualification & Performance ManagementLead supplier assessments and qualifications for new subcontractors, monitor supplier quality performance through KPIs and scorecards, and drive improvement actions to achieve Renesas quality objectives.5. Continuous Improvement LeadershipLead quality improvement initiatives, analyze quality trends and systemic risks, and influence cross-functional stakeholders to drive sustainable improvements across supplier operations.6. Training & Best Practice DeploymentDrive supplier quality capability development through training, coaching, and deployment of best-known methods and quality management practices.QualificationsMust (Required)Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical disciplineMin 7 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, including experience in supplier quality, manufacturing, process engineering, or quality engineeringWorking knowledge of semiconductor assembly processesHands-on experience with problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone analysisKnowledge and practical use of ISO9001, IATF16949, and Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsAuditing experience based on ISO9001 and IATF16949 requirementsWant (Preferred)Certified Lead Auditor for ISO9001 and/or IATF16949Experience or knowledge of advanced semiconductor packaging (e.g., Multi-Chip Modules, Wafer-Level Chip Scale Packages)Ability to influence suppliers and resolve quality issuesExperience working in a regional or global supplier quality environmentUnderstanding of Japanese business culture and ways of workingAdditional InformationRenesas is an embedded semiconductor solution provider driven by its Purpose,To Make Our Lives Easier.
