Staff PCB Layout EngineerFull-timeEmployment Type: Regular (PERM)Remote Work Available: NoJob DescriptionManage PCB layout projects from design to manufacturing release.Design high-density server and power management PCBs with more than 28 layers.Develop and maintain PCB footprints, stack-ups, routing, and design constraints.Lead projects, mentor layout engineers, and coordinate schedules.Review designs and prepare manufacturing files to ensure quality and manufacturability.Work with engineering and cross-functional teams, PCB vendors, and assembly partners to resolve DFM/DFA issues.QualificationsPCB Design ExpertiseExperience with server PCBs 28+ layers, high-speed routing, power distribution, and high-density BGA routing.Strong knowledge of multi-stage HDI, blind/buried vias, five-level stacked microvias, and advanced stack-ups.Power electronics or power management PCB experience is preferred.Manufacturing KnowledgeKnowledge of backdrilling, cavity design, manufacturing capabilities, design rules, and process limits.Understanding of PCB fabrication, SMT assembly, and DFM/DFA.ToolsProficient in Cadence Allegro PCB Designer and OrCAD Capture.Altium Designer experience is a plus.Leadership and CommunicationExperience leading projects and mentoring PCB layout engineers.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex layout projects independently.Good English communication skills for working with global teams and vendors.EducationBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Additional InformationRenesas is an embedded semiconductor solution provider driven by its Purpose,To Make Our Lives Easier.
