This is a great opportunity for someone organised, proactive, and happy working in a fast-paced environment supporting laboratory operations.What you’ll be doingManaging the receipt, booking in, and storage of laboratory samples and equipmentEnsuring items are tracked accurately and are easy to locate when neededSupporting the lab by retrieving samples quickly and efficientlyCarrying out stock checks and ordering consumables to maintain supply levelsLiaising with internal teams and customers regarding deliveries and queriesSupporting the safe dispatch of samples, including those under Dangerous Goods regulationsDisposing of petrochemical products once testing is completeHelping maintain high standards across quality, safety, and service deliveryQualificationsWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is organised, reliable, and enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. You might currently work in a warehouse, stores, production, manufacturing, logistics, retail, or customer service environment and be looking for a new challenge.You'll be successful in this role if you:Enjoy working in a hands-on, fast-paced environmentHave strong organisational skills and attention to detailCan manage multiple tasks and priorities at the same timeAre comfortable using IT systems and Microsoft OfficeCommunicate confidently with colleagues, customers, and suppliersWork well as part of a team and are happy to support othersHold a full UK driving licenceIf you're organised, enjoy practical work, and have experience managing stock, materials, deliveries, or inventory in a warehouse, production, retail, or similar environment, we'd love to hear from you.
