Join us.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Structural Inspector to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for site supervision and comprehensive structural inspections to ensure all construction work meets established building codes, safety standards, and project specifications. You will play a critical role in maintaining quality assurance and compliance throughout the construction process.Conduct thorough structural inspections at various construction phases to verify compliance with approved plans and building codesSupervise on-site construction activities and monitor contractor performance to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standardsDocument inspection findings, prepare detailed reports, and maintain comprehensive records of all site activities and observationsIdentify structural deficiencies, safety hazards, or non-compliance issues and communicate findings to project management and contractorsCoordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve structural concerns and implement corrective actionsVerify material quality, workmanship, and installation procedures for structural componentsEnsure compliance with UAE building regulations, local safety requirements, and project-specific standardsPerform quality assurance checks on concrete, steel, and other structural elementsMaintain organized documentation systems and prepare progress reports for project stakeholdersCommunicate effectively with site teams to provide guidance on structural requirements and inspection proceduresQualificationsProven experience in structural inspection and site supervision within the construction industryStrong knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and structural engineering principlesProficiency in preparing detailed inspection reports and technical documentationExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound judgments on structural issuesSolid understanding of construction methodologies and building safety standardsStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with diverse teamsAdditional InformationAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.To support this commitment, all newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.About AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
