Flex is a growth-stage, NYC headquartered FinTech company that is building the payment layer for life's financial obligations, giving households one place to see, split, and pay their bills around how they live and get paid. By offering greater choice over how and when payments are made and allowing eligible on time payments to help build a positive credit history, Flex puts households back in control of their cash flow.
That work brings together people with different perspectives who challenge the status quo and take ownership of solving difficult problems. For you, that means doing the best work of your career next to people who make you better, and together bringing ideas to life that make a real impact for the people we serve.
We’re hiring a Vice President, Business Development & Strategic Partnerships to source, close and launch high impact strategic partnerships for the company. The ideal candidate is a world‑class hunter with a track-record of closing game‑changing deals and turning them into material P&L impact. You will own the full deal cycle—from strategy and sourcing through pitch, negotiation, and close—with a focus on embedding Flex’s suite of offerings into platforms across the proptech ecosystem, unlocking significant revenue and customer acquisition for the business. This is an externally-facing leadership position for someone who thrives in consultative, complex sales environments, loves to build from scratch, and excels at working across executive stakeholders to craft and close bold, high-leverage deals. Reporting into the SVP of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships, you will work closely with leadership and teams across the company to shape and deliver on Flex’s most important commercial growth initiatives.
Flex takes a market-based approach to pay, ensuring compensation is commensurate with a candidate's experience and our internal leveling guidelines. For candidates located in our Tier 1 markets (NYC/ SF), the on-target earning (OTE) pay range for this role is $336,000 - $420,000 USD.
For all other U.S. locations, Flex utilizes a geographic pay differential based on a cost of labor index. If you are located outside of the Tier 1 states listed above, your starting pay will be adjusted to align with the market conditions of your specific geographic zone. Please speak with your recruiter for additional information regarding the specific range for your location.
