Role SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - UI for our mission-critical command-and-control (C2) interface for autonomous ground vehicles. This role combines hands-on frontend development building highly reliable, performant UIs used in real-world operational environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable making architectural trade-offs, collaborating across disciplines, and iterating quickly based on direct user feedback from the field.What You'll DoDevelop a cutting-edge command-and- control (C2) interface for autonomous ground vehicles.Remain hands-on in the codebase, contributing to core UI features, architectural components, and critical bug fixes.Partner closely with UX designers to translate design systems into high-quality, production-ready implementations.Collaborate with product managers to shape requirements and break work into clear, deliverable milestones.Get into the field to observe real users operating the system in training and operational environments, rapidly iterating and experimenting based on end-user needs.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline and 3+ years relevant professional experience; OR 5+ years of relevant professional experience.Experience with React and TypeScript.Desired Experience & Qualifications:Experience with different frontend development languages and frameworks.Familiarity integrating with a variety of backend APIs.Experience working with multiple communication protocols; prior experience with MQTT is strongly preferred.Prior experience with ATAK/TAK is strongly preferredLocation:The preferred location for this position is Seattle, WACompensation And BenefitsPay Range: $150,000 - $230,000 annuallyActual level and base salary will bedeterminedon a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.Overland AI believes in creating a work environment that you look forward to embracing every day.Benefits Include:Equity compensationBest-in-class healthcare, dental and vision plans.Flexible PTO401k with company matchParental leaveMonthly wellness stipendOne-time workplace & productivity reimbursementOverland AI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
