Veterinary Technician

We're seeking a skilled, client-focused technician who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys building relationships with clients while delivering outstanding nursing care. In this role, you'll utilize your technical skills to support patient care, diagnostics, and treatment plans while partnering closely with our veterinarians to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, compassion, and a proactive approach to supporting both clients and the veterinary team throughout the patient journey.

Responsibilities Include:

• Supporting efficient exam room and outpatient workflow to ensure exceptional patient and client care
• Maintaining accurate, thorough medical records and treatment documentation
• Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
• Supporting veterinarians during outpatient procedures and treatments while providing high-quality patient care
• Building positive relationships with clients through education, communication, and attentive service

Schedule and Compensation:

• Compensation:$18 - $21 per hour, for each hour worked
• This is afull-timeposition with availability neededMonday-Friday and rotating Saturdays.

Minimum Qualifications and Skill Set:

• 1+ years of experience in a veterinary assistant, veterinary technician, animal care, kennel assistant, or related rolepreferred
• Proficiency in the following skills: Safe animal handling and restraint skills for dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperamentsAbility to assist with exams, treatments, and outpatient proceduresCompassionate, professional communication with clients and team membersAbility to work collaboratively within a team environmentDependable attendance and strong work ethicPhysical ability to stand, bend, lift, and restrain patients safely throughout the workday
• Safe animal handling and restraint skills for dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments
• Ability to assist with exams, treatments, and outpatient procedures
• Compassionate, professional communication with clients and team members
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
