About the role:

Skills and Responsibilities :
- Guide a group of exempt and non-exempt associates in alignment with the values and culture upheld at Misfits Market.
- Oversees the operational effectiveness of all facility departments, encompassing Inventory and Receiving, Quality Control/Assurance, Maintenance, Sanitation, as well as Production and Shipping teams, to ensure seamless performance across the board.
- Ensures the precision of our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Inventory Management Systems (IMS), guaranteeing optimal accuracy, efficiency, and quality in fulfilling customer orders.
- Enhances processes to guarantee the production of customer orders with exceptional quality, precision, and efficiency.
- Consistently enhance operational safety by collaborating closely with the Environmental Health and Safety team.
- Implement 5S principles alongside facility leaders, including certification and training for forklift operators.
- Guide exempt teams and cultivate talent by employing impactful coaching techniques and implementing accountability measures.
- Committed to building an inclusive and productive culture within the fulfillment center.
- Optimize business workflows by analyzing complex data to identify trends and solve problems.
- Ensure that company policies and good manufacturing practices (GMP) are followed throughout the fulfillment center.
- Reduce costs through the execution of efficient and accurate processes throughout the facility.
- Establish team and individual goals that are aligned with our core values.
- Collaborate with the Quality and Sanitation teams to uphold compliance with food safety standards.
- Work closely with HR partners and your exempt team to provide input and recommendations regarding hiring, terminations, disciplinary actions, and promotions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with corporate partners to drive strategic initiatives and optimize operations.
- Maintain accountability for the full Profit and Loss (P&L) management of the facility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- 10+ years in production, fulfillment, or distribution environment.
- Strong leadership, supervisory and training skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and respond to concerns of managers and associates.
- Excellent writing, statistical, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Highly effective coaching skills with ability to create common cause among multiple stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work various schedules, to include weekends, as needed.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast paced environment.
- Experience in Lean Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
- Comfortable with working in a refrigerated environment (36 degrees).
